Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Please note, The River to access the property is currently high an unable to cross, You will need to go via approx 45 min 4wd Track to access the property. Want to get away from it all — without being too far from a cold beer? Bedrock is a secluded 4WD-access only campsite in Victoria's High Country, situated just 5–10 metres from the Goulburn River via a short walking trail. With mountain views, world-class trout fishing, and 4WD tracks right on your doorstep, this is the real deal. The Goulburn is one of Victoria's premier trout fishing rivers, and you won't have to go far. The river is practically at your feet — past guests have pulled trout straight from this stretch of water. When you're ready to resurface, you're spoilt for options. The Kevington Hotel is just a 4-minute drive away — perfect for a counter meal or a cold one after a day on the tracks. Another 10 minutes down the road is Jamieson's main street, where you'll find the Courthouse Hotel, a general store, a café, and a servo. If you're after something a bit more craft, the Jamieson Brewery & Grill is around 15 minutes away. What to expect: • 4WD access required as you will need to cross the Gouldburn river to access the property. Please be sure to check depth and ensure your vehicle is safe and capable of crossing. • 5–10 metres to the Goulburn River via a walking trail • Trout fishing on your doorstep • Panoramic mountain views • 4WD tracks accessible directly from the property • Kevington Hotel — 4-minute drive • Jamieson township (pub, café, general store, servo) — approximately 10 minutes away • Jamieson Brewery & Grill — approximately 15 minutes away This is a genuine off-grid escape. Come ready to disconnect — just not too far.This is the prime spot. Very large flat ground, nice grass and easy walk to the Goulburn river. Think rainforest vibe cross with high country mountains. There is no toilets at this campground. Reception with Telstra only. River is shared with neighbour across the river, so please be respectful.

Riverside Campground
If you're in a 4WD and want a quieter spot to yourself, this is definitely it! You need to cross a section of the Golburn River to get there, so definitely 4WD recommended. A snorkel is advisable if the water levels are high. You are also next to a track, so you will get the occasional cars, but it wasn't a bother at all. It would be a perfect spot to camp here and go on some tracks during the day. The site itself was clean, level, had enough tree cover, and was only about 20m from the water's edge. There was a small pathway down in the furthest corner (be careful of the thorny shrubs and weeds on the way down, and be mindful of the neighbours across the water). Nate was excellent on the day :) Managed to meet him there. He guided me down to the water and told me the best way across the water. Very responsive throughout, and I really appreciated the help when I ran into issues from start to finish. Would absolutely come back again! Thank you! :)

Riverside Campground
Beautiful place, River is about half a meter deep at the crossing point, river access is great from the campsite too, cought 3 trout! Site itself is clean, flat and stunning views. About 5 mins drive to kevington pub and about 15 out of jamieson. Will definitely come back, host instructions were clear and he was easy to communicate with. Thanks again Nate!
