Badgery Point Campsites
Will be back for sure
The good: Really great, sunny and plentiful spot run by very helpful and friendly owners. When water levels are down, expect to have a little walk to get wet but great for swimming and fishing (permit needed). Our short visit was marred by thick, wicked southerly gusts for the entire three days so it was best that we sought a natural windbreak in some trees.....but we're not complaining as it was the same winds that kicked off the Grampian NP blaze so there was no way of predicting this. Our dog had the time of his life although some of the sharp rocks on his paws slowed him down a bit for the second and third days. Bad stuff: A group of feral guests on the neighbouring property proved terribly inconsiderate by spotlighting continuously onto our tent site between 10pm and 2am and, sadly, there was evidence where dogs had pulled down and killed a poor kangaroo nearby. It only takes one, I suppose. All-told it was a great spot that was spoiled by some bad weather and a few in-breeders which is totally out of Prue's control.

Absolutely beautiful spot , plenty of room between groups ! Having the tank water available to fill my camp shower hugely helpful ! Prue always super quick and helpful with any questions! Have been before and will definitely be going again !

Perfect spot for a nice relaxing week away between Christmas and new year. Nice and quiet, very peaceful, even New Years Eve was wasn’t as hectic as other places. Will definitely be back again for some more quiet time.
