6 Sites are on Sunrise Farms 75 acre Conservation land with 50 mile view for Sites 1 and 2. Very quiet area with lots of wildlife and ponds and disc golf. Very quiet with great swimming and lots of hikes right from your sites. 2 of the Brookside Sites (Wishbone Left and Right) are close by where we have another 1/2 mile of river frontage and can handle bigger groups as Conservation land on Sunrise Farm only allows 4 campers per site. Sunrise Farm Sites 1 and 2 have oodles of space and Spectacular 50 mile views of Mount Monadnock with no house lights out there in the evening except the party string lights we provide. Site 2 is best for camping in up to 20 foot trailers or multiple tents …on the large, long space. Deck on the north side of farmhouse is not traditionally for campers unless you make special arrangements. Great Well water available near farmhouse. Biodegradable soaps Only if used in the ponds. We have been advised Not to allow imported firewood (can import Wood Beetle dangerous for our forest). - PLEASE use the Firewood bundles we provide ($10) or pull wood from the woods and make it safer for use. Beautiful and plenty of wildlife nearby... as well as a new Port a Potties are marked on Map we provide with solar lights marking them at night. Unique and lovely as well as being next to trails and roads to miles of remote spots with very few if any ... people. In Winter we request only AWD vehicles go down to this site or park up by farmhouse and hike in so you can easily get out. When wet park up by the road if you have 2 wheel drive. Always WISE to arrive When LIGHT out as we do not live at the site and are not able to show guests to their sites as a result.

Ski road trip with my kids.
This was a great spot to winter camp and ski at Mount Snow! Roy was also incredibly helpful and accommodating. I would stay again in a heartbeat.

Car camping!
Roy was helpful & stuck around the property, even though we arrived pretty late after the sun was down. He had plowed the snow at our site to accommodate us! There was an outhouse & a place for our car, as we car camped. A beautiful view of the stars at night & the snowy property in the morning.

Wishbone Left by Brook S. Newfane
Wishbone Left is very secluded and peaceful. We camped with a small trailer and felt like we were a million miles away from the hurry and rush of the world. The site was well appointed with a great fire pit, picnic table, water and electric. Roy was a great host and communicator. Everything about him and the site exceeded our expectations.

Beautiful land
We stayed at site 1 and had the most beautiful vista of the autumn foliage and distant mountains. A gorgeous spot with a fabulous sunset and sunrise, and wonderful stargazing. We had all we needed

This spot was great. We had a little trouble in our arrival (our trouble) and they were so helpful and accommodating. And the land is vast & stunning. Enthusiastic thumbs up!

Beautiful Setting
If you're looking for a peaceful, remote, beautiful setting to relax and recharge in then this is definitely the place. There is not one thing I would change about this place. A huge bonus is the trail network that is accessible right from your camping spot. There's no need to leave here once you've arrived. The trails are great and fun to explore. I met Roy as soon as I arrived and he led me to the campsite complete with a load of wood. He is a wonderful host and provided me with a great experience. I will be back!

Wishbone Right by Brook S. Newfane
Secluded and serene
My stay at Wishbone (right) was amazing. It was so secluded, and the sound of the brook in the evening was so calming. The fact that the “house” had internet was an added bonus, allowing me to work while staying here. The abandoned house isn’t super pleasant to look at, but it adds to the secluded vibe. Also, wandering down the steep ravine to the brook was AWESOME. And having space for my dogs to run on the site was great. I also enjoyed taking (10 min) trips up to the farm house to admire the views, hike, and chat with Roy. Roy is an excellent host, and a very kind and gracious person. I very much hope to stay again, and will probably try the farm next time! Pro tip: if staying at wishbone right, be mentally prepared for very careful driving. If I was new to towing my 23’ camper, it would have scared me to drive down there. I made it down and up just fine, but I can’t say I wasn’t a little nervous! Definitely best to arrive with plenty of daylight left.

Our second visit was incredible
It was beautiful to return to Doug's Pond on the cusp of fall. This was our second visit to this site and it was lovely yet again. My partner and dog and I love the privacy the trees give, and that the pond is healthy and swim-able. The water was chilly mid-September, but it was worth it! We built many gorgeous fires over the weekend and enjoyed the thoughtful set up of the site - our tent was tucked away in the tree-line but still close to the fire pit and picnic table. Waking up to the dragon flies and birds singing around the pond is part of the magic of this spot. We can't wait to visit in the spring!

Babbling Brook
We loved the seclusion of Wishbone Left. This is a beautiful area of Vermont. It was so nice to have electricity, potable water and a clean outhouse. We were able to get to the stream by walking East of the campsite. Best fire pit ever and good, generous wood supplied by Roy who was available to answer any questions.

A Beautiful Spot to Relax
Beautiful spot. My tour group stopped at my site on a Heritage walk to rest. They enjoyed the delicious water and the amazing east facing view in the morning. The field had just been mowed and it smelled magical - like life itself. We'll do it again next year for sure. Thank you Roy! PS Gracious and hospitable host.

Remote Camp Spot
Enjoyed the camp experience at Roy’s Farm. Great remote location. Everything was clear on how to get to our site. Would recommend coming before dark, which we did. But it would be difficult to find campsites in the dark. Thanks Roy!

Sunrise farm #5 Site: “DOUG’S POND”
Roy's sites are tucked away from any road noise and street light. Sites are dispersed and private, one can hear people from the other sites in the distance only occasionally. Doug's Pond and Lotus Pond we thought were the prettiest of the sites we saw. We loved the area, lots of great hiking. It is quite remote, so downloaded maps are suggested, and cell phone reception is quite a distance away. Roy does provide wifi login at the barn. We had a great stay!

Roy's land was a great, quiet place to camp. Completely empty on a Sunday night! The site was a little buggy, but nothing the smoke from the fire couldn't get rid of.

Nice quiet spot
It was very quiet and well marked. Only concern was how steep it was getting into the site but we were directed by another camper to another entrance that was much easier!

Quiet weeknight getaway
Great location, very private, nicer and bigger than you can tell from photos. We had the majority of the place to ourselves with a weeknight stay during not so great weather. I imagine in peak summer the swimming pond being delightful. Its unbelievably quiet there and a real escape into pure nature. Directions were easy to follow and Roy was quick to respond to any inquiries. I would love to come back in nicer weather and stay longer. Only minor negative I can think of was the port a potty was a bit far from our site #3 and it seemed I had to walk by other sites to get to it.

Site 1 Sunrise Farm South Side
A camp site true to its name
We loved camping on Sunrise farm. Site is very beautiful and is true to its name. We viewed the gorgeous sunrise from your tent. My kids propped up their heads on a pillow in the tent, while we sat on our chairs sipping morning coffee watching the glory of the Sun! Drive up to the camp site was a lot of fun and so was our morning walks through those roads. We stayed on Site #1. If you need, you can run an electric line to your tent. There was always running water (controlled hose) by your tent. A fire pit ready with wood; picnic table, and an umbrella if you need some shade. Our host, Roy was equally amazing. Always around to make sure that you are taken care of, but never in your way. Conversations with him were priceless. Deep conversations 'painted' with an excellent sense of humor. We stayed at the site for two days and left after gaining a great friend. And yes, we plan to go back there sometime soon.
