As the title indicates this is a primitive cabin; come equipped! But if not do not fret as Rhonda is very happy to rent you a lot of material (at a very reasonable price) and is a very helpful host; she gave us very detailed instructions on how to get there and recommended a bunch of fun trails and activities to do in the area. The cabin was quite clean and welcoming, and the fire pits outside perfect for grilling food. Overall we had a magnificent stay!

The cabins were private and kept us dry when it stormed outside!

This was a great primitive cabin stay! We stayed in the sunflower cabin which was bigger than we expected and kept us nice and dry when it rained. One thing I wish I would have known before going is you do have to drive a one way gravel road with some uphill to get to the campground which was slightly intimidating, but Rhonda was so nice and made everything a breeze! Overall, it was a great stay and I would definitely recommend!

Cozy secluded cabin
We were looking for a roof over our heads to protect us from the rain. Very secluded and primitive, just the way we like it! There are multiple campsites but you will probably not see the other campers. Rhonda is super helpful and thoughtful. She came to check on us and was very communicative and friendly. Make sure to bring lanterns or some string lights, inside the cabin gets pretty dark pretty fast. Great excuse to get some sleep though! All you really need is a comfy pillow and some of your favorite people! 😁

Rhonda was an excellent host! She was kind and helpful. Her cabin and facilities were exactly as described. We very much enjoyed our time spent in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and surrounding areas. We wish we could've stayed longer!
