Nestled in the historic mining town of Zeehan on Tasmania's rugged west coast, the Zeehan Golf Club offers a serene and affordable camping experience for caravans and tents. Guests can park on the club's grounds, with all proceeds supporting the maintenance of the community-run golf course. Access to a toilet and shower is available at an additional $5 which can be paid on site in the box provided. Otherwise please be fully self contained. Situated approximately 140 km southwest of Burnie, Zeehan serves as a gateway to Tasmania's wild west coast. Good for an overnight stop

A good stop for a overnight stay but I wouldn't stay any longer, it is a clay car park with lots of pot holes, when it rains it is a muddy mess. There are two toilets and one should about 50m away but if someone is using the shower you can't use the toilet.

Well-maintained and thoughtfully set up overall. In our case, since we travel with a rooftop tent, they allowed us to camp on a grassy area next to the last hole. As described, you can access the bathrooms and the shower for an additional 5 AUD per booking. The shower has hot water and works perfectly. If I had to point out a downside, it would be that the shower area is quite exposed, and it’s easy for people entering the bathroom to see you. Not ideal if you’re on the shy side. That said, it’s manageable if you’re a bit careful, and even better if you’re traveling with someone who can keep an eye out and give you a hand. Overall, a good place with solid facilities and a few small details that could be improved.

A basic campsite with a magnificent hot shower and clean toilets. Quiet and pretty with great walks and the Spray Tunnel. Well worth the visit.
