Welcome to Sherwood River Camp, our self contained camping grounds with access to the Wild Mersey MTB trails. The camp grounds are located just 8 minutes from Latrobe and 15 minutes from Devonport. The camping area is located on the banks of the Mersey River where you can enjoy your favourite water activities or just relax by the water side and enjoy the sounds of nature. Campers must be self contained with their own camping toilet and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Pets are welcome but please keep them under control. We have rain water available as well. We recommend a 4x4 vehicle when towing caravans as the driveway to the property is gravel and on a hill. This is a working farm so please have respect for the host property and livestock. $10 per person, per night. Kids under 12 are free so don't put them as part of your booking. Welcome to Sherwood River Camp, our self contained camping grounds. Amazing site not many people and no wind at all only issue was motorbikes late at night for hours one night but otherwise amazing time good to swim at

The views are absolutely stunning, the bridge to come over is now fixed which is awesome. We stopped going most weekends because of that issue. Make sure you know there is no bin, no toilets, there’s firepits but sometimes there’s no wood and the wood is only $10 a bag (we take our own) and people just let there dog go where ever. It’s a great campsite for families or even a weekend getaway.

What a fantastic place to camp and relax with the family, we had so much fun with the kids and the dogs, 10/10 we will be going back in the future. Everyone was so friendly and there is so much room for everyone to spread out.
