SAME-DAY BOOKINGS MUST BE MADE BY 2 PM THANKS. Semaphore Farm is a 400-acre property with convict history, bordering the Po historic site. It is a private timber reserve and a working forest farm. We have a combination of native eucalypt forest and plantation, and we grow hay and our own beef. We have many walking and bike trails through 150 acres of forest and pasture accessible to campers. The campsite has spring water on tap, a hot shower, toilet, rustic camp kitchen, wood stove, gas BBQ, level sites, and a campfire when permitted. Tent sites are flexible so you can choose your own space within a 2-hectare area, while Level pad sites are limited. The Port Arthur Historic Site and a safe swimming beach are within walking distance and Safety Cove and Remarkable Cave are only a 5-minute drive away. Longer walks, including the Three Capes tracks, are easily accessible. Launch your boat nearby to access good fishing or fish for squid off the Port Arthur jetty. There is plenty of wildlife to see at night and birds during the day. You might even see our resident Wedgetail Eagle! Dog-friendly (must be under control/on a lead/contained). Lovely spot with lots of sites to choose from. Basic kitchen, showers and toilets, but everything was working and the water was hot in the showers. Great views of the bay and easy access to Port Arthur historic site which is within easy walking distance.

Semaphore Farm N7 Tent Site
We loved camping here at Marian’s farm. What a delight she is! We had free range to where we wanted to camp as there was only 4 others sites booked at that time. It’s a beautiful property over looking the water. The showers were hot and perfect after a days adventure. The farm was 5 minutes drive to the port Arthur historical site and 25 mins from the Cape Raoul track. Head to the Port Arthur motor Inn for a burger & beer after !! So delicious! Thanks Marian for having us! We can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend this place for all! 😁 Justin & Bec

Beautiful, serene, friendly environment!! What a pleasure it was to stay at this property. Marian was a joy to listen to and so knowledgeable about the area. The caretakers and Marian’s son were so friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend staying here. Thank you for all your help, the Callaways 😊

Great place if you want to camp or caravan close to Port Arthur. Allows pets which suited us, because caravan park nearby doesn't allow pets. Quiet and peaceful very green had water. Would go again.

Per friendly amazing spot
The best pet friendly camp I have encountered, fantastic camp kitchen, shower and long drop toilet , water avail firewood could be purchased for camp fire ,was met by host on arrival the lovely Adriana whom allowed me to pick any spot for caravan , was made to feel so welcome , could have stayed longer than a week . Peaceful and such an amazing spot dogs loved every minute. Close to water amazing views, close port arthur historic site Will definitely be back , if I could give a 10 star rating I would. Most amazing week ever , highly recommend And price was great for what you have access too
