First Hipcamper Club

Earn this patch by being the first to spend a night outside at a new Hipcamp.

Named by a northern NSW employee, Jindabyne, the campsite sits on the banks of the 1.6 hectare dam. There are many dams out there but this one is ours and is awash with iron from the onsite bore which gives our Pinot Noir its unique character. Vehicle suitability

Vehicles under 100 meters allowed

For an ideal view over the dam, drive forward into the campsite so caravan/camper doors open up to the dam. Access the property via the cellar door entrance and follow directions over the dam wall. When leaving you can back out the drive straight out using the alternate entrace/exit.

Allowed rigs: caravans, fifth wheels, camper trailers, motorhomes, campervans, cars, and rooftop tents

This campsite has fall on it. Ensure you can level your camper on site. Swimming is ok. The dam is deep and cold. There are definitely eels in the dam and there may be leaches.

Firewood provided, firepit. We supply firewood to camp sites. Fires are generally open fires. Fire restrictions must be observed.

Pets allowed

On leash. Pets need to be controlled as we have our own dogs. Dogs are territorial. We also have livestock on site which should not be harassed by pets.

No toilet; campers must bring camp toilets

Potable water available

Tap, hose, pump or well. We have several rainwater capture sites on the property. There is no shortage of water.

Wifi available

We have wifi available at cellar door.

Laundry present

We do have a staff laundry and ablutions block we can provide access to.

Playground available

We have totem tennis, footballs and cricket sets available for use in the cellar door beer garden.
