As well as, explore nearby vineyards, bars, restaurants and cafes in and around Latrobe & Devonport. Its close to walking/cycling trails and all that North West Tasmania has to offer from a central and convenient location. 1hr from Cradle mountain, 25 mins from Deloraine, 30 mins from Sheffield. Our mission at Robin Hood’s Well is to provide a clean, welcoming and comfortable home away from home for every guest. At Robin Hoods Well Farm Stay, we aspire to run a tranquil, sustainable farm.

Garden Studio with views

Our charming King bed studio with ensuite amongst the historic gardens is self contained to a couples delight. TV & Wifi. Boasts a beautiful bathroom- walk in shower. The aspect is north with amazing views to a water reserve and near by manicured gardens. Your immediate surroundings have privacy and ample parking. The studio has small kitchenette with light cooking facilities which include a microwave, sandwich maker, toaster and rice cooker steamer plus BBQ outside on patio. Views Views Views! King size room which has a ks bed fitted with luxury bedding & lots of pillows! Table for two looks out to verandah and over looks gardens to the water reserve. The studio has a compact kitchenette with modern country finish. Includes- microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, rice cooker, sandwich maker plus patio BBQ. (Note: there is no stove/oven, only what's described above) A luxury studio amongst a cottage garden and within an historic property. Play farm games located in gardens or just sit and watch the birds. The studio is situated next door to the original homestead with gardens dividing the buildings. The gardens are mostly shared with our guests so they can experience what we experience everyday here on the farm. We have privacy signs located around farm and mud Map so guests can wonder around and explore. (note map can vary due to livestock placement, please message your host if you'd like an update) This is a working farm so day to day activities still go on each day. Great care is taken to accommodate your privacy and your booking wishes. Note: this is not suitable for children. Self Check in. On day of guests arriving, cottage/ studio with be opened and key arrangement made. A message will be sent either day before or early morning arrival date, specifying where to park and where key is located. Nature walks, gardens, ample parking, farm experience, wifi, indulgence. Guests can follow the map of farm to take a walk in nature. Plenty of safety and informative signs are placed around farm. This particular accomodation would suit a person or couple looking for a comfy 1 room studio with some luxury and scenic views. This studio does not suit couples with children as only two persons allowed and studio is not equipped for children. This garden studio is the closest to the main homestead and fully maintained cottage gardens. It is self contained with a BBQ, so guests can cook their own meals, pick veg if avail from the gardens too! Parking is right next to your door. Walking the landscaped gardens around main homestead is welcome. Please do not go into paddocks where farm animals (Cattle & Horses) reside, without your host. We have 2 dogs that can bark but are very friendly. They are trained to stay in our private area so please dont encourage them into guests areas. Please tell us if you do not like dogs. This particular studio is not suited to children, so please book our other cottage which is suited to families. Registration number DA114/2016

Long John's Cottage

Long John's Cottage is a warm & cosy 2 bedroom cottage situated 45mins from Launceston, 15mins from Devonport and 5 mins from the well known town of Latrobe. This place has its own fenced garden, own chooks & clothes washing machine too! Robin hoods Well is an historic 60ac property with lots of character. Family's welcome. The space has a beautiful layout with a king main bedroom off the living. The second twin bedroom sits next to the bathroom on north side of cottage. A simple gallery style kitchenette and dining space is what you walk into from the entry and a lovey cozy lounge with cast iron wood fire central. The kitchenette has a kettle, toaster. microwave, plug-in electric hotplates x 2, sandwich maker, coffee machine, rice cooker & bar fridge. With a full bbq on porch. This cottage does not have a full kitchen but you can create super meals using these facilities provided. The bathroom is very modern and clean with walk in shower and has its own wash machine. Newly renovated with amazing vista. Gardens with variety of English and native plantings. This space is suited to sleep 4 adults comfortably plus a fold out bed for the 5 member. We also supply a cot if needed. We also have a cottage studio suitable to 2 adults only, and The Homestead which sleeps 12. this would be suitable to hire all dwellings for extended family holidays. Total up to 21people. There is a larger communal farm laundry (located at side of homestead building) which has a chest freezer and washing machine and dryer (fee applies for dryer) Guest access On day of guests arriving, cottage/ studio with be opened and key arrangement will be in door or we will meet you upon arrival. Parking is signed and right outside doors of accommodation. Nature walks, gardens, ample parking, farm experience, wifi, indulgence. Please read all safety notes before adventuring out through farm. Animals that live on the farm: Cows, Horses, Dog "Zepplin” bird "Poppy", chickens. SAFETY: We encourage you to enjoy our farm, but do ask that you do not go into any paddocks where cattle and horses reside as they are very unpredictable. There is safety notes inside cottage you must read before embarking the cottage. Registration number DA114/2016

The Homestead

A huge family historic home. Enough room for the extended family. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Take a step back in time with this old homestead designed back in 1860. But live in comfort with just enough modern added to the mix. Put your feet up and relax, stay in bed or pop your boots on for a peaceful farm walk. The family will love you for this getaway experience. Surrounded by extensive farm, the family will not get bored 6 bedrooms 2 bathrooms. There are 4 king size rooms up stairs (stairs and rooms not suitable for young children) These rooms are 1 x twin single, 1 x Double, 2 x King bed. There are two bedrooms down stairs, these are 1 x twin single rooms and 1 x Queen room. Lovely lounge kitchen dining space open plan. Bathroom with shower and toilet upstairs and ground floor bathroom with shower and claw foot tub with a separate toilet. The whole home is accessible, but in the case of small number of guests 3 and under, we usually close off one area of house that tends to get cold if not running heaters. This saves power usage. But if guests want to choose , we are happy to accommodate. Other things to note The home is surrounded immediately by cottage gardens and the home is not fenced off, meaning all parents with children will need to supervise children when outdoors. There is a large 1 acre fence boundary but it includes the farms main driveway and parking areas. Registration number DA 189/2021
