Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Located approximately 20 minutes from Hobart's CBD, we welcome you to stay on our beautiful property surrounded by nature and wildlife. Situated in the foothills of Quion Ridge, our campground is on a internal property, well away from the road, providing the perfect place to hide and relax amongst the surrounding bushland and widlife. Close to Hobart's famous landmarks and attractions, the campround also provides a great opportunity to serve as a central location to explore what Hobart has to offer. Campsites are on flat grass with minimal levelling required, and is only suited to fully self contained offgrid RVs, caravans and campers. Meaning that campers must provide their own toilet, shower, power and water facilities. Pets must be contained as property is not safely fenced. Quion Ridge Camp is conveniently close but not limited to the following attractions and towns along with approximate travel times to and from the campground. • Bonorong wildlife (7min ) • Baskerville Raceway (2min) • Brightons bakery, butcher and IGA (10 min) • Zoodoo Zoo (15 min) • MONA (20 min) • Derwent estate, StefanoLubiana wineries (20min) • Historic town of Richmond and Coal River Valley Wine region (20min) • Historic town of New Norfolk (25min) • Hobart CBD (20min)T

Quiet and close to Hobart

We loved our three days here - we spent two days exploring Hobart which was only 20 minutes away. We came home each night to our site which was so quiet and peaceful. The sunset and wildlife was amazing. Thanks Josh

What a stunning location to set up camp. The surroundings are so peaceful, we felt so relaxed listening to the wind in the trees and the birds chirping. We saw lorikeets, black cockatoos, Bennetts wallaby’s while here but having 5 of the neighboring properties friendly horses come for a visit and a pat was awesome! Josh was great to communicate with, really friendly, welcoming and helpful. The property is close to everything we needed, and it was lovely to come back here to unwind after a busy day. Well worth the walk up to the top of the property to see the sun set. We will definitely stay here again!

Great communication with Josh. Directions to the place were clear. The property looks as shown in the pictures - grassy area with amazing firepit you can sit around and chat for hours. We didn’t get a clear sky to enjoy sunset properly but please try if you’re lucky with the weather - this property has a great viewing point!

Josh was a great host with responsive communication even giving local advice eon best places to explore! Stunning location with beautiful sunset views at the top of the hill. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

We spent two nights at Coin Ridge camp, and it was amazing! The camp spot was easily accessible, private and quiet! we even saw a couple of wallaby's & could hear kookaburras. we took a stroll up to the top of the property where there is a lovely view and can watch the sun setting. Coin Ridge is close to many activities & tourist attractions. Josh is also a great Host and answered enquires promptly.
