A very tranquil private location close to town with easy access and a nice grassy site. Camp sites are well separated. Highly recommended, we will be back.

Arrived and greeted by a lovely bunch of hens and then followed by Shyla the gorgeous pony. It is a peaceful spot by the dam. We were lucky enough to have beautiful weather and friends on site 1. It is so pleasant listening to the frogs birds and ducks, kayaking on the dam and soaking in the nature. Walked around property went to the brewery and vineyards and had a marvellous long weekend. Rosie our host was excellent to communicate with and she left us alone it is all very private. Firewood supplied and bbq but we had our own so didn’t use. Highly recommend Pocket Farms.
only down side and it is very very minor is the noise of the road on our site during the day it does settle overnight. My friends on site 1 didn’t really notice it. Again it wouldn’t deter me from returning again. Be careful if it has rained a lot because it could be quite muddy getting to your site. Thank you Rosie. 😄

Beautiful fire pit with dry wood supplied. The piece & quiet surrounding the dam with canoes available if you need. But the one special things was night sky. Ten out of ten, would recommend to nature lovers!

Great spot to pull up for the night. Rosanna’s response time to booking was almost instant which was great as we were already driving there! Campfires are available as well as benches, it was quiet and comfy. Thankyou

What an amazing property! A tranquil & peaceful spot near the dam with a fire pit, picnic table and the beautifully lit trees at night. The kids had a lovely time exploring the farm and collecting pine cones. Close to Beaconsfield town Centre and a great location to explore the Tamar Valley! Rosie was very accommodating and easy to communicate with…We will definitely be back, thank you for hosting us ♥️

Very peaceful stay. Great location to what the area has to offer. Directions were clear. Short drive to town centre which is ideal for supplies. Plenty of firewood. Camp spots spaced out well and was private. Hosts were there and left us to our thing but was easily contactable and very quick to reply.

Beautiful farm with lots of room and stunning views, we had the best time sipping our wine by the dam watching the fire. Close to town, easy to find, perfect for our last minute booking in our self-contained motorhome. Super welcoming and helpful host - thanks Rosie!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time camping at Pockets Farm in Beaconsfield Tasmania. Hosts communicated clearly and quickly, making it all very easy.
It was quiet and peaceful, and we enjoyed kayaking on the beautiful small lake/large dam. And a great base to explore the northern Tamar, Gold mine, and a number of tourist sites.

So peaceful. Easy to access, all natural, beautiful chirpy birds and plenty of firewood for a roaring fire pit. I’ll be back to enjoy again.

We loved our time at Pockets Farm. It is perfectly located, only a few streets away from the main street but it feels like the middle of nowhere. The setting is idyllic and sheltered. Rosie was fantastic to communicate with. We will definitely be back. Thanks for sharing your lovely property.

Good central, private location with dam, fire pit & kayaks. The camp is very central to Seahorse World, Platypus House and Beaconsfield Gold Mine. And you need a full 1-2 days to fit these places into your schedule. And I highly recommend visiting all of them. So it makes for a nice retreat without having to drive miles out of town to come back into town to see those listed over 1-2 days. I enjoyed the serenity of being at the site alone, which provided a photographic opportunity and memory of the damn on sunset. Much appreciated was the firewood, fire pit and supply of kayaks. Before leaving be sure to paddle the kayaks on the clear, still dam on a frosty morning. Superb experience. Many thanks for having me at your well manicured little place.

Really nice quiet and private site by the dam. Great spot for our young daughter to explore. Watching the sunset and walking through the fairy lights each evening was magical. Great location for exploring West Tamar. Would definitely stay again.

Such a perfect spot right next to the dam. Easy access and easy check in with our host. They've done so well making sure the separate camp sites they have are private and well away from others.
Perfect for adults and kids. There were kayaks which we could use and a BBQ and picnic table at our site as well as wood to burn in the fire pit. The trees around the dam are lit with fairy lights which is beautiful.

Great quiet spot, river close by for the kids to swim in, slides, swinging ropes, fire pits for roasting marshmallows, cows to feed, We loved it. Host great to communicate with and very accomodating. Would definitely recommend.

Great little spot, spacious, lovely dam to do some canoeing, great for the kids to swimming in, and the horse was a delight to be able to pat.
Camp fire and BBQ provide.
