Was like backyard camping. A cute toilet in a garden shed. Nice and handy to some tourist sights. Was drinking water too. A good convient site.

Nice little campsite. Had what we needed for our first night on the road, electric hook up, water, and a toliet. Just off main road, although you have to have your eyes peeled to catch the entrance even with satnav.

Such a lovely spot. We stayed after visiting Port Arthur, and it was such an easy drive. Perfect size for our campervan. Our dog really appreciated the shady tree nearby. Very relaxing atmosphere. Also convenient to be close to the toilet. The space was well kept and clean

I love Simon land. Host is responsive. The site is equipped with toilet but no shower. There is power and water supply.

Loved staying again at Simon’s land this is our second stay here and it’s so quiet of a night and peaceful. My daughter loves the swings here. And a bonus with a clean flushable toilet. Simon is always quick to respond with any questions and is happy to help. We love staying here with our dog. Will see you again shortly Simon thanks again

This camp is a good place to base yourself when exploring the Tasman peninsula. It is a short drive to Port Arthur and Eaglehawk Neck , the beaches and the tessellated pavement . We were lucky we could untie the ropes to drive around and into our site ( site 4 ) otherwise it was a bit of a tight squeeze to back in. Basic flushing toilet( only 1) , tank water , can have a off the ground fire ,nice and quiet . Be careful turning into drive , it is short and with a van we were hanging onto the road until we got the gate open . A bit hard to spot as hipcamp sign is tiny , it is just past the Unzoo and then the metal horse , on the right .

Great place to camp to explore the Tasman Peninsular. Only issue is the entry point from road needs extending so you can get off the rosdway when opening/ closing the gate. This needs to be sorted before it causes an accident. Be careful.

This camp was a small paddock with interesting wildlife. There were only two other caravans but I would have felt crowded if there had been more. We were on the largest site behind a big tree with our full height caravan. The tree has low branches over the entry to all but the two sites nearest the road and it damaged our tv antenna. It would be ok for pop tops. We had power and water and the flush toilet was a bonus. It was only ten minutes to the Port Arthur historic site.

This was a great site well worth it. Very quite but plenty of room. Camped under a tree with access to a fire pot which we took advantage of. Wood was available at a cost. Excellent toilet and power. No issues getting the site on a long weekend.

Great base to visit Port Arthur, the lavender farm, chocolate factory & Unzoo. Lovely grassed site & decent size. I’m a light sleeper but didn’t find the road noise a problem - quiet at night. Toilet was clean. Pleasant outlook onto an orchard at the back. Thanks Simon for a great stay.

Wide, level sites. Toilet and electricity is a bonus. Just off the main road but we had no road noise at night. Cute local goose

Highly recommend this site, nice and flat and generous sites with distance between other campers!
Nice and close to alot of tourist attractions and several beaches.
Clean flushing toilet which is an added bonus.

My partner and I had a lovely stay and slept well on Simon’s land, a clean and tidy campsite with amazing wild life and horses next door! We had a no power tent site, the grass was fluffy and the ground was flat. We walked to Fortescue bay from here to camp and walk the Three Capes and stayed here again on our return. Only downside would be the showers weren’t working during our two stays but I’m sure they will be soon.

The site was fine while I was there on my own then a whole tribe arrived with 3 vehicles and a boat and a small child unsupervised running around so it kind of spoiled the vibe for me and the cigarette smoking was wofting into my RV but besides that it was a good stay , the owners were very nice people .

The area was nice with grass and secure with a gate to be kept closed. The sites markings are a bit difficult to find. We had a 21 foot van and found the area we were allotted was not big to back the van into position. we had to ring the owners, they said we could remove the roped off area so we could have enough room to manoeuvre the caravan. Would be good for smaller vans, tents etc

Such a great spot to explore Port Arthur.
Level sites with power and water and can also have fires. Well run by a lovely family. Definitely recommend!
