Site 1 - Pelican Bay - Paradise Lagoon
While the description does state the site the camp sites are back from the lagoon and that there is no view of the lagoon it also states that the campsites are on grassy / paddock surfaces. The camp sites are on dirty, black sand within a fairly small area amongst the scrub with no view at all. In our opinion quite an unpleasant and unattractive campsite and not as impression implied, all this for the exorbitant price of $60 per night for 2 people ?? One usually gets what one pays for & besides the hosts description the price requested made me assume this must be a pleasant camp site. We drove in and straight out again, stayed at the Pondering Frog, $10.00 per night, very pleasant
with potable water provided.

Site 3 - Pelican Bay
Place was great for a one night stay with a tent. It was very private, great little walk to the bay with a stunning view to the mountains. Short drive to Wineglass Bay or Friendly beaches. Great communication.

Communication with Leza was excellent! Very friendly, quick response, fair and open. I pretty much liked the spot, it is a beautiful piece of land on Freycinet Island in Pelican Bay. We had a visit of a Delena cancerides but luckily she did not manage to find her way into our camper van ;-) A lot of kangaroos jumping around in that area and of course many beautiful birds.

No facilities, but very quiet and was fine for a night. Not recommended for children as not much area to play. Lovely and close to all walking trails.

We had a lovely stay on Leza's property. Being only a short drive from Freycinet, staying here allowed us to get there early enough to beat the crowds. The site itself is pretty basic - there's some tables and a fire pit, but no facilities. This wasn't an issue for us though, as we were only staying the night and were charmed by the lush and peaceful surroundings. We especially loved walking along the lagoon, which was just a short walk from the site and we even spotted a wombat!

Great location - peaceful bush setting and a very short (10m) wall through to the lagoon. The area was clear and clean and plenty of places to choose from. Please make sure you remove your rubbish as Leza asks so it is clean and pleasant for the next visitors also. Very happy with our stay.

What a wonderful quite place to spend the Easter weekend so close to Coles Bay and Freindly beaches without the crowds or noise. Perfect Sheltered spot with a great Host. Defineatly be back.

Sorry to say this was very disappointing, so much so that we drove in and drove out what a waste of $30.
Leza seemed nice in messages just drove in and felt very uncomfortable, old unused bbq’s around the place, discarded unusable tables everywhere, no cleared places to stay, two old setups with rubbish around them that have been there a long time.
We just wanted a clear clean place to stay, we are fully self sufficient and this was a rubbish dump.
Stayed at the paintball was great, they have had others do same as us.

Leza, the host is friendly and responsive to questions.
We had the space to ourselves half the time. The other campers who stayed were friendly and very considerate of our space.
We were able to nestle our camp among the trees, just how we like a good bush camp.
The tables, chairs and bbq that’s on the site could look a bit neater but that didn’t affect the area we stayed in towards the back of the block.
The bird life is abundant and enjoyable to watch.
We got some great photos of the Hazards mountains and sunset across the lagoon.

We didn’t end up staying here, we turned around straight away. The place looked like a dumping ground and the whole ground area just felt dirty. Much better option up the road.

Fantastic views of mountain range & secuduled bay. So much bird life, just gorgeous. Easy access with Leza's detailed instructions. Plenty of room for caravans, motorhome etc, must be fully self contained. Can highly recommend

What a great find. Forget the craziness of coles bay, this was certainly paradise. So quiet so lovely. Splendid views of the hazards!! Thanks Leza!!!

On arrival the site was surprisingly unkempt- a dumping zone for broken tables, chairs, umbrellas, a container and 2 old vans set up for permanents complete with generator. The view from the lagoon is lovely but you will camp on dirty black sand. NOT as described
