Located 4km from Launceston CBD, you feel you could be miles away from civilisation but have all the conveniences of a big town just minutes away. Campgrounds are nestled amongst lakes and wetlands, with an abundance of wildlife sharing the grounds with campers. Apricus Restaurant is on the property, hosting all the farm animals (highland cows, alpacas, cheeky goats and furry donkeys to name a few!). Toilets are available along with a dump point. Please note there are no shower facilities. Hipcamp sites are unpowered, but have access to town water. Powered sites are available but need to be booked through the Old Macs website. Campgrounds are for self contained RVs only - tents and sleeping in cars not permitted.Pick from any unpowered site on arrival. Variety of sites from large grassy sunny sites, through to private amongst bushes by the lake.

Brilliant spot!!
We had an awesome overnight stop! We will be back for sure! What a great mix of sites and the layout is brilliant! Clean & tidy! Great restaurant/cafe!! Well done - keep up the great work! Cheers Colin & Jacqui

A Launceston dream camp!
This place is a gem! Big open sites, easy to fill your water tanks, dump point, beautiful lake and the Esk river runs past. The farm animals were a hit with the kids, rent a fire pit for 5 bud! and the best thing of all it’s super close to town but far enough away that you feel like you’re away from the hustle and bustle.
