Female only! Stay in a bohemian traditional Mongolian Ger (yurt) on a 70 acre property. Situated on a hill two minutes drive to spectacular beaches and walking tracks. Private yet safely contained within the property. Ideal for single travelling female if any age who wishes to explore this beautiful area. Visit the stunning Maria Island, I am 20 minutes away to the Triabunna ferry. Visit Freycinet and the Tasman Peninsula. Hobart is 75 minutes away, airport 50 minutes. East Coast Tasmania..nowhere better! Enjoy lots of activities in the area and come back to your serene surroundings. The COTU Yurt is basic and rustic glamping. It's cosy, has minimal facilities but you can boil a kettle and microwave a meal or cook outside on a camping stove (home cooked meals $20 booked in advance) Main bathroom facilities in my house twice daily at a time arranged but there's a caravan type loo in the yurt. There's an armchair, a cosy wood stove, and a single bed. Microwave, tea and coffee. Filtered rainwater. Bedding provided. I'm a respectable distance away but your privacy is as important to you as it is to me. Park on-site and you have a private entrance. There are two silly labradors who may visit you outside so you do need to be a dog person. If not.. sorry the yurt is not for you. Please note this is a female only property. In the beautiful Spring Beach area opposite Maria island on the East Coast of Tasmania sits this characterful yurt (ger). The Seadragon Yurt sits surrounded by schlerophyl forest and wildlife. It is fairly remote. I live in the cottage next to the yurt. It is 5 minutes drive to stunning beaches or a 20 minute brisk walk downhill. The yurt is furnished with a comfortable stretcher single bed, an armchair, pocket wood heater for Winter and precious wall hangings collected from afar over the years. A microwave, kettle, coffee and tea making facilities and filtered rainwater complete your intimate space. Outside there is a simple outdoor kitchen with gas two burner camp stove and a charcoal grill. Perfect for a single lady traveller seeking safe, peaceful surroundings. If you desire a break in an unusual private place..you've found it. Simply chill out and enjoy the space or make it your base for exploring this stunning area. Main house available at set times for showering/toileting (toilet facility at yurt too). Limited cooking facilities with tableware, microwave, bbq and firepit. Please note there are two very friendly labradors on the property who may wish to visit you. .it would be wise to be a dog lover! They are discouraged from visiting you and are not allowed inside the yurt. This is a female only property. I can only host females. The East coast of Tasmania is spectacular.. I can fill you in on locations to must see!
