Arion Park – A Unique Farmstay Experience in Yolla, Tasmania Escape to the peace and beauty of Arion Park, a 55-acre working farm nestled in the lush green hills of Yolla, North West Tasmania. Our Hipcamp offers a unique opportunity to stay amongst friendly farm animals, wide open paddocks, and fresh country air – all just a short drive from Burnie and Boat Harbour Beach. Set up camp in a quiet, grassy paddock surrounded by Clydesdale horses, Highland cows, alpacas, goats, sheep, chickens, and abundant local wildlife. Whether you’re in a tent, camper, or self-contained caravan, our sites are flat, spacious, and family-friendly, offering plenty of room to relax and reconnect with nature. Guests are welcome to wander the farm, meet our animals, and soak in the peaceful rural setting. You may spot wallabies at dusk, hear owls at night, or watch the Clydesdales grazing at sunrise. Kids especially love getting involved at feeding time or saying hello to the curious goats and chickens. Facilities are simple but clean and include a toilet, water, firepits (seasonal use), and waste bins. Our property is pet-friendly with prior approval – dogs must be on a lead at all times due to livestock. You’ll also find a small farmgate stall on-site selling fresh eggs, seasonal produce, flowers, seedlings, and animal manure for the garden. Depending on the time of year, we occasionally offer horse grooming demos or educational farm experiences – just ask what’s happening during your stay! I loved the peace and tranquillity of Arion Park. The views of the surrounding hills were magic. Unfortunately, the country was very dry, and the farmers were awaiting the rains.

Beautiful spot to stay, even though it was only very short! The hosts were fantastic, and did to a long day on the road thru were able to accommodate us to check in at 11:30pm which was great! Beautiful horses, look forward to staying again!

The property is gorgeous - stunning evening and morning sun. Left to your own device which was perfect for us. Fire pit was great! Horses were divine - in nearby paddock - truely gorgeous XX

What a place in peace ! Endless space, next to wonderful horses. Have been warm welcomed by the hosts, were able to help feeding the horses. Amazing place with kids. Thanks again for this experience.

Peaceful and close to township of Ross. The horses were friendly and calm, despite our dogs not being so sure about them. Jamie and Renee were lovely! Will definitley return to their new Hipcamp when it’s up and running!

What a great little spot to stay at! The wide open fields were beautiful, the place was empty but I think even if there were others it would still be so peaceful. The owners were so friendly and considerate and even left us a pile of wood by our fire pit when we arrived. The town was so lovely to explore. Will 100% be coming back!

The hosts were great . We enjoyed the horse feeding every afternoon and learning about their beautiful animals. The ground was flat and night skys were amazing . A couple of minutes out of Ross but you could have been in the middle of nowhere.

We loved our two night relaxing, doggy friendly camping stay next to the horses. Gorgeous open, flat space with views and a fire pit. Take carrots to feed the horses! A 15 or so min walk into beautiful Ross, fab bakeries, bridge, quaint architecture, Elm lined streets, wool museum, has a wonderful feel. Perfect base to explore. Thanks Jamie and Renee.

Loved our stay at Jamie and Renae’s little piece of paradise. Such a friendly family who shared their moving to Tassie story and their dreams with us. Very flat open space lovely views. Super friendly Clydesdale horses. Our dog loved the space as did we. Very close to Ross 5 minutes drive. Highly recommended. This couple have planted loads of trees in their short time in Tasmania. Well done guys!

We loved parking up here for a night. Such beautiful scenery, friendly Clydesdales that are more than happy to visit you at the fence. Plenty of space for our toddler to run around. The night sky was stunning as well! Very welcoming hosts, Looking forward to staying here again on our next trip through Ross! Thanks for having us :)

Such a lovely spot to stay! An awesome outlook and so quiet and peaceful. Plenty of level areas to choose from in the grassy paddocks and our only ‘neigh’bours were the beautiful horses. Loved the serenity .

Peaceful scenic camp in Ross

We enjoyed staying overnight at Jamie’s property . Jamie was on hand by phone to direct us into the right paddock. Beautiful peaceful scenic setting about a 15 minute walk to the pub in Ross. We had the paddock to ourselves but plenty of room had there been others camping. Weather on arrival was a bit dismal but a great dimmer at the hotel in Ross made up for a damp start to the night.

Such a beautiful place, with the most picturesque scenery! The area we parked our campervan was flat, spacious quiet and private. The hosts were so accommodating and friendly, especially when we had to book last minute! Would highly recommend staying here and we can’t wait to come back here and stay again!!!
