It is impossible to state how lovely this location and hosts are! Every accommodation and possible need was sumptiuously met. The room had a plush sense of comfort and a thoughtful design for utility. It is a perfect location for endless hiking and historical adventures, and the town of Pickens is adorable yet also full of every necessary type of shop or eatery. The property is impeccable and peaceful. The hosts clearly love their home, town and nature. They were deeply kind and were a wealth of information about area hikes and destinations!

Flamingo pad is one of our favorite place we were there for 2 weeks and really enjoyed our stay Jennifer and her husband are wonderful people and it’s a beautiful place to be highly recommend it.

We had watch for dog deposit. Otherwise, the place is quiet and beautiful. Small creek by the camp site was nice and good for fishing.

Lovely, natural, quiet, shady site right along the water. Enjoyed reading up in the treehouse. Happy to have men’s and women’s bathrooms with toilet and sink. We were graciously received and accommodated.

Good and level site ! I pulled in backwards to hookups so l faced waterway ! Bathroom very clean ! Really good restaurants , Publix and suchwithin 3 miles ! Recomend checking out Honey moon state park and tarpon springs Greek area ! All within an hour ! Great property and Hipcamp ! Definetlly recommend !

Very convenient place to park a RV. Close to everything including Honeymoon Island 🏝 .

Great clear communications, friendly greeting, and a sweet little spot with power, water, and a view of a peaceful little creek. Super quiet at night. Nice clean bathroom too. Pulling into the property with the fairy lights on the treehouse was pretty memorable! Would go back in a heartbeat.

This spot is FABULOUS! It's in Tampa minutes away from tons of city stuff yet still tranquil. I have been searching for a country feel spot to park in Tampa for a long time. I found it! My dog and cat were in heaven as well. The host's dogs were friendly and welcoming to my pets. When I arrived I had a terrible head cold. The host offered homemade all from scratch chicken soup. The soup was amazing and the kindness lit a light in Tampa. I will stay here every time I'm in Tampa.

Jennifer was really accommodating and lovely. The space is perfect, great treehouse deck, firepit, electric and water hookup, and a nice bathroom on the side of the house available. I will be back soon!

Jennifer and her families land is tucked away in a great spot!! We loved it there, everyone in the house and all the dogs were friendly and welcoming. I can’t say enough good things about it. If your looking for a chill quiet place to reset with you RV this is it!

We had a great stay in our camper van at Jennifer’s Property. This spot is quiet and set back away from the main road. It has amenities like a bathroom, potable drinking water and power hookups. Upon arrival, Jennifer greeted us and made sure we were all set for the evening. Would recommend this property to anyone staying in the Tampa area! ☺️

Jennifer’s Flamingo Pad was such an incredible stay. It is a hidden Oasis in the middle of suburbia. I stayed next to the creek and had amazing views out of every window. The electric hookup was such a great bonus.. Jennifer is very friendly and helpful. The night was quiet and I had a great night sleep there.
Two things to note:
1. The driveway entrance is a gravel and packed sand entrance that can easily missed. I speak from experience. The entrance is immediately after the housing complex entrance as you make the right turn.
2. The circle driveway felt a little tight to turn around in. I have a 33’ travel trailer being towed by a shortbed F-150. Just be aware of this if you have a rig my size or larger.
I will definitely look to stay again if I am in the area!!

We were so excited about this place that we extended even before we arrived, and it certainly lived up to its hype! Flamingo Pad is tucked away in its own oasis. The pad backs up to a small lagoon and comes with its own treehouse and fire pit lounging area. There was yard space to play with our dogs, and every person we met on the property was friendly and pleasant. Jen was especially nice and was so hospitable during our entire stay. Also, I must mention the water: it was so clean and soft! Finally, the location is great. We split our time between downtown Tampa, the airport, St. Pete and Dunedin, for which this stay is exactly at the center. 10/10 and hope to come back!

The star of the show here is definitely the treehouse platform. I don’t know that I’ll get to sleep in the trees in my tent like that anywhere else. Jennifer our host was gracious in bailing us out of a little propane snafu when we brought the wrong adapter, saving our ability to cook our meals. Bathrooms were clean. It was nice having an escape within 30 minutes of home, but being in that urban setting also provided a bit of noise. You’re adjacent to a small subdivision, so weekend warrior/ lawn work sounds were audible and somewhere nearby must be a venue with live music on weekend nights because both nights of our stay we could clearly hear the band and their cheering crowd. There was a good bit of movement in and out of the driveway by hosts but I believe they did their best to be unobtrusive. To be fair, I believe most of flamingos guests have campers which would likely make these sounds a nonissue but if you’re tent camping these aren’t a complete deal breaker unless you turn in before 11 in which case bring earplugs. If you’re looking for quiet, tranquil, seclusion this may not be your cup of tea. I would still recommend it on account of the unique treehouse and very accommodating hosts.

Flamingo Pad is a unique spot to camp. There is an elevated platform, like a treehouse, to sit upon, a creek to fish and a quiet spot to get a good night's sleep. The host is very pleasant and accommodating.

Throughly enjoyed my stay at The Flamingo Pad in my Squaredrop Camper with my doggo. It was a nice quiet place to unwind from everyday life and enjoy some R&R. Everything was just as expected and the host Jennifer was very friendly and reachable if I had any questions. I’ll definitely be staying here again probably sooner then later.

This was a great camping spot! Location was perfect and very close to several nature parks along with water. The deck and lights are so charming and really made the spot cozy. Would definitely recommend!
