This Property was purchased by Grandfather in the 70s  and then was passed to my Mother. In 2013 I decided to live life differently and start from the ground up building with natural materials and found materials. At that time I was fortunate enough to have the land passed to me and I started building a home for myself and to be close to my mothers home nearby. After achieving the basics I decided that the best use of this beautiful land was to create a place for people to relax and enjoy, a park like environment dedicated to preserving natural beauty and amplifying it through a permaculture lifestyle. 8 years later I am blown away at how far the dream has become a reality and love sharing my space with people from all over the country.

Creekside in the Fern Valley
I would absolutely recommend staying here if you love beautiful scenery and friendly hosts! It’s a good compromise where you’re not completely roughing it, but this definitely isn’t “glamping” either. We had a great time!

The Creekhouse
WOW!!! We are so in love with this place. Damon and family are incredible. The creek house is so awesome. The rain on the roof was the icing on the cake. The swimming hole provided ours of fun. The land and trails are utterly magic. We cannot wait to come back. We are definitely lifers. ♥️♥️

Creekside in the Fern Valley
Plenty of options and he gave me a good tour of the land. Super friendly guy that tried to make me feel at home then left me to my peace. It was a super simple experience that was great for a place to crash for the night.

The Creekhouse
Had a blast at the creek house. The kids enjoyed the swimming hole, swing, paddle board and kayak. Very friendly hosts! We liked walking the paths and checking out the wildlife (deer, frogs, snakes, squirrels). Make sure to bring your bug spray, the area stays moist, so wasps, mosquitoes and some killer ants abound as well. Would be glad to stay again at this great hideaway home away from home.

The Creekhouse
Great family camping
A unique and special experience for someone looking to camp and relax off of the beaten path. We were disappointed that we were just passing through and couldn’t spend more time in the creek- the water was refreshing and the kids had a lot of territory to explore at Damon’s place. The creek house has a refrigerator and cooking area that would have been nice to use for an extended stay- It has a treehouse vibe that is great for kids, and the woods that he lives amongst are accented with mood lights at night which gives the place a magical/fairy woodland vibe. We did have a lightning storm come through that night, and the structure didn’t feel safe in that kind of situation, but to be fair, that would have happened in any kind of camping situation short of a more solid cabin. I know my kids won’t forget the brief stay we had at Damon’s place, and he and his family were very welcoming, helpful and have a solid perspective on life. Thanks Damon for having us!
