Awesome central quiet location
We loved the quiet central location of wombat lakes. The host Peter is just lovely. It's a very short drive to both Southend and beachport. We also done days trips to Penola , Robe and Naracoorte. It's has little hills and hollows on the.property giving each site more privacy. I would say 1-7 the best locations due to wind. There was no noise at all during the nights

Wombat Lakes
I stayed in Kangaroo #2 Site. The site is level, the sandy ground drains quickly, and it is away from the roadway. Access is easy. Perhaps the only thing to ask for is some shade trees or shrub wind break but, recognising that this is a very new Hipcamp site, it may take some time to get that.
