195 Silver Lake Road. Mylor Book directly and save: willowglenalpacas.weebly.com/Booking Willow Glen is set in the Adelaide Hills on 10 acres, close to Hahndorf and bordering the Onkaparinga River. The property is a private farm with 2 dams and views extending across the valley. There are a number of suitable locations to for bush camping. Site access is limited to dry weather and vehicles with single axle camper trailer or tent. Vehicles with higher ground clearance are more suitable. The River Upstream is the flattest of the campgrounds if you require a completely level site for your vehicle. A number of alpacas and sheep share the camp grounds. Sites suit bush camping with limited amenities. Potable water is available upon request but there are no toilets or services on site. There are a number of great wineries in the area all with excellent food and produce you can enjoy. Close to: Hahndorf - 5 min drive Stirling - 10 min drive Mount Lofty - 15 min drive Tour Down under (TDU) - passes at the end of the road several wineries Campers must be self contained with their own camping toilet and water and take all rubbish with them upon departure. Due to the livestock on site dogs unfortunately are not allowed. 1. Fires are only permitted outside of fire ban days 2. Potable water is available on request. Please contact the host 3. Nearest toilets are in Mylor. Please do not do number 2's in the bush or leave toilet paper around. 4. Please leave the site as you found it (remove rubbish etc.) 5. Please arrive in daylight hours as campsites are unmarked and difficult to locate at night 6. Please be respectful of neighbours and avoid playing loud music.

Please note that camping with trailers is more suited to The Hill or Gums campsites due to the restricted turning space along the river. ​Pitch your tent (or small trailer) in a shady location by the river and take a dip or catch some fish. Collect some fire wood and cook some damper with a glass of wine (outside of fire ban season). Our group of six really enjoyed our stay at Willow Glen. Great communication and flexibility from Rob to help us choose the best site for our group. Plenty of space for our tents and such a peaceful place.

Such a fantastic location- A beautiful, tranquil and secluded campsite alongside the river. We were greeted with stunning scenic views and cute alpacas roaming the grounds. Rob and Nicole are lovely hosts who made us feel right at home.

Beautiful spot, very peaceful and quiet. I had the place to myself which was nice. I was a little early and managed to find Rob, it wasn't an issue, very welcoming. The river is calming and the bird life is abundant, all combined makes for a relaxing camp.

Great spot to go camping with the kids. Rob was very helpful and supplied the kids with some food to feed the alpacas. The boys had a great time.

Such a beautiful spot by the river. So calm and relaxing. Rob made sure to check we’d arrived safely and found the site. Came by to check we were happy in the morning. Will definitely come again. Thank you!

Direction and communication from host was easy to follow and timely. The camp grounds was beautiful. There were other campers but the sites were far from each other which gave you more of a remote feel. Perfect!

We loved our stay! The space is very open and we saw a couple koalas in the gum trees! Rob was such a lovely host and very accommodating. Such a great campsite!

Great spot to camp, terrific views, and if you like to walk before breakfast, I highly recommend walking downhill into Mylor and have Breacky at the General Store. But be prepared for the walk back, some may find it tiring. Overall we really enjoyed to night.

We enjoyed our overnight at Willow Glen! Waking up to sunrise above the river with alpacas was a great start to a new day. The area we chose to pitch our tent had a gentle slope, nonetheless, we slept well. Thank you Rob and Nicole!

This is a great location for camping, quiet, scenic, exactly how described. This is the best location we’ve camped at so far. Rob was a great host and very friendly, wouldn’t hesitate to return, kids had a great time and you’re only ten minutes from Hahndorf. Beautiful property, thanks!

We loved our stay at The Hill. Rob is friendly and approachable and the site was quiet and had beautiful views. We had ample space and appreciated Rob’s map and clear directions for how to get to the site. We would recommend The Hill to anyone looking for a nature break, without hesitation!

The Gums
Our first stay using the app, and it was a great one for our novice group of campers. Rob was friendly and was great with communication, even offered for us to join them for their own personal bonfire. We didn’t end up joining, but it must have been 2 storeys high, it was enormous. The alpacas were great company and really made the stay special. There was minimal noise from other campers and the owners. Thanks for the stay, we really enjoyed ourselves.

Great 2-night stay by the river. Koalas, kangaroos, birds galore and 5 roaming friendly alpacas. A quick hello from Robert as he tended to them. Kept a lovely little fire going. Plenty of kindling around the sites to get a fire going. We will be back, thanks.

The Hill
We loved staying at The Hill! It's such a great camping spot, only 30 minutes' drive from Adelaide. We were a group of 10 people, and the spot is big enough to accommodate four or five cars. It's a fantastic, relaxing, and tranquil spot to get disconnected. We really enjoyed the company of five beautiful alpacas that were on the property, seeing the ducks at the lake, and the nearby river. Highly recommended. Thank you, Rob.

The Hill
Rob was a really nice and friendly guy. Easy to talk to and was easy to reach by phone. We tried two of the three areas, the Gums and the river. Both amazing places. It was a bit slopey for our tent but beautiful surroundings.
