The Scrub Campsite located in remnant vegetation (14 minutes from Victor Harbor ) is a rustic self check in campsite as the owners do not reside near the campsite. Campers choose their site in the designated camp spots. Sites are not allocated unless by prior arrangement. Persons under 18, youth groups, school groups or scout groups etc. are not permitted to book at the campsite. A communal camp kitchen, water tanks and compost toilet is available for campers use. Fire pits are located at each site. Campers will be advised of fire bans. Wood can be purchased from the self service white ibc container for $15 for 20kgs. Please adhere to the camp rules which are posted at each campsite. The campsite is located on the Heysen Trail and close to many Lower Fleurieu Peninsula beaches and attractions. The popular Belicious Cafe is a 45 minute walk. Whole campsite bookings can be made by contacting the owners. We ask that campers respect all other campers, the land that they are camping on and follow the campers motto - Leave nothing but your footprints. Once booked you will receive a text outlining the camp policies and instructions.Inglewood is a 130-acre property currently running beef cattle and sheep. The camp also has a porta loo and composting toilet  Unfortunately due to neighbor concerns pets are now not permitted.  Colloquially known as God's Country the property is conveniently located 1hr 20 mins from Adelaide, 14 mins from Victor Harbor, and 20 mins from Waitpinga, Yankalilla,  Hindmarsh Falls and Normanville. Other nearby localities are Pt Elliot, Goolwa, Deep Creek National Park, Newland Conservation Park, Springmount National Park and Granite Island. Walkers on the Heysen trail can access the campsite 100 metres away. A 60 minute walk will take you to the fabulous Belicious Cafe. We look forward to welcoming you to The Scrub Campsite!

Inglewood is a 130-acre property currently running beef cattle and sheep. The property has 10 acres of remnant scrub which abuts the Heysen Trail. An absolute gem of a campsite! The scenery is breathtaking, with towering trees and a tranquil lake. The facilities are top-notch, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Perfect for families, couples, or solo adventurers. We can't wait to return!

The kids and I spent an afternoon at this lovely campsite, spending the night in a tent. This was a first time booking a place through Hipcamp as I've only recently discovered the website and I was blown away by this lovely property and all the little touches around the place to cater for kids. We loved it and my kids are already asking to spend another night there. Thankyou Marc for a great stay.

great location RIGHT on Heysen Trail between Victor Harbor end and Inman Valley just before Robinsons Hill rustic and secluded and fun Great place for locals with young families to relax for a weekend If have time on HT trail take detour across Mark’s property to “ Belicious Cafe” for some Belgian waffles and coffee , worth the few extra k’s then Rejoin at Robinsons up Parsons Road too cheers and thanks Mark👍

We loved camping at the Scrub. It’s a beautiful area to camp in and the way the campsite has been set up is awesome - the toilet is great, the wood available for purchase on site is handy and the various seats, bikes and kids toys are fantastic. Marcus communicated everything really quickly and answered all our questions. We’ll be back for sure!

Amazing gem of a getaway. Private, quiet and very relaxing. Maintained by the owners incredibly well with visits to restock the loo and firebox. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed this camp.site. Beautiful setting, with lots of different sites to choose from and each offering plenty of privacy and protection woth surrounding scrub. Camp kitchen; we used 1 of 2 available BBQs. Rain water available but wouldn't rely on drinking it unless you bring your own filter etc. Kids loved the novelty of the composting toilet! Host Marcus was very friendly and helpful. We had forgotten one of our air mattresses for the kids and he was able to loan us one for the night. Plenty of wood (for purchase) and kindling for all our Camp fire needs! Loads of bikes and equipment for kids to entertain themselves with, out side of poking sticks into the fire. The only reason I would hesitate to recommend is the wattle trees in the scrub. The thorny branches are incredibly painful and made it next to impossible for the kids to scrummage for sticks and play around in the bush. We arrived pretty close to dark so weren't aware of this at the time and the kids unfortunately had to find out the hard way "don't touch the yellow trees". Shoes on at all times as the thorny twigs are everywhere. This may be a barrier for those with younger kids or anyone who enjoys bush walking to make their own path or cubby. Or if you are planning to enjoy some barefoot time. Other than this, lovely scenic and peaceful setting to spend a couple of days. Lots of sweet little blue wrens everywhere. Camp is easily located with google maps and accessible without 4wd.

Great camp sites with plenty of bonus extras like a gas bbq, games and kids toys, swings and tables and chairs. Marc was a great host who came to visit to check in and see if we needed anything else. Accepted electronic payment for firewood. We’ll definitely be back again soon.

Well set up camp ground, perfect for those looking to get into camping but don’t have all the gear. Marcus came round to make sure we were set and had all we need but he didn’t intrude, a quick hello and off he went. I’d stay there again for a quick overnighter not far from Adelaide.

I loved everything about the camping site. Marc was very lovely. Even though we booked a specific site Marc allowed us to pick whichever camping site was empty to take it which was great. Beautiful views around the camping site not much noise. Will love to go back again.

10/10 top marks. Almost wish it was secret so it’ll stay available all the time but this campsite deserves to be seen and used by families and groups of friends. The perfect spot for a weekend getaway! Deserves all the good reviews :) Cheers
