Great spot for convenient camping. Lots of trees for shade and tying things to (like dog runs, guy ropes, etc). There's a road with 100km/h speed limit quite nearby so I had a bit of noise from the traffic but was camped quite close to the road (it might be a bit quieter further away). The amenities are really convenient. I'll definitely consider it for future camping trips 👍

We had a great time camping at Chloe's place. The area was private and beautiful, with many trees for shade. We (luckily) got to meet many of the animals during our duty stay too, which was a bonus! Highly recommended - we'd come back. Thank you!

Beautiful little spot with lots of spaces to choose from to put up the swag. Hosts were super friendly and made sure we knew where everything was. Friendly dogs that were well controlled. Great to have access to a toilet- a little way from the campsite but very easy to walk or drive to if needed. A little road noise but not enough to disturb the peaceful atmosphere

It was such a lovely first time experience camping here! Directions were clear and as first time campers, we were glad when Chloe and her husband came by to greet us and lend a hand with setting up our tent. :) the sunset views from the campsite is amazing and would highly recommend camping here just for it! And the horses! And the dogs! The toilet and bathroom were also available (although a bit of a distance) and very clean. Overall a great experience!

Fantastic campground, no one else there so nice and quite. Good facilities. Close proximity to the Lavender Trail, so good option for a day hike. Plenty of birds, roos and farm animals

so peaceful and beautiful! it was only us and one other couple who were abit further so we really had alot of privacy (which we appreciated given it was a long weekend) the views were stunning, bathroom was CLEAN CLEAN but the only thing to watch out for were the dogs! they seemed to be in the housing compound most of the time but they gave me a massive scare when i went to use the bathroom in the morning and ran after me 😅

Great host and good site.
Has water, shower and flushing toilet but it is a couple of minutes walk to the bathroom which is next to the house on the property. As it was private land we were able to have a fire for cooking as long as we followed CFS rules.

When I stepped into the shower, and saw a Fairy Wren sitting outside the window, I knew I would enjoy my stay.
Close to Mt Barker, and a lot of sightseeing options.
Good clean facilities.
Very responsive Hosts, while still allowing privacy.

Beautiful site in a lovely town not far from Mount Barker/Nairne. We really liked how they have designated an area to camping with lots of beautiful eucalypt + amenities were great. The site is quite close to the busy road though and the site being in a valley meant a lot of noise travelled. Besides, this it was really nice and Luke was very accommodating.

We would recommend and stay again. What we liked: Great bathroom facilities, lovely and helpful, communication with host, great value, central location for all major sightseeing/activities around Adelaide/Barossa etc., cute dogs to play with :) For our stay, we were the only campers and we were also able to use the picnic table at the Caravan - which was a bonus. What could be better: Maybe the fertiliser smell and road noise was a bit unexpected, but not too much trouble. Some ants and ant holes around, might not be ideal with kids(?), all good for us though. Thanks for a great weekend! :)

My girlfriend and I had an awesome stay on Chloe’s property. It had some stunning views and a great camping area. We really enjoyed our stay and would have no hesitation in returning! Chloe was a pleasure to deal with.

Chloe was very friendly and responsive for our one night stay. The track was very tight for our van to get through and there is another track to use if you are concerned about this that we used on the way out. We had a great fire and the toilet/shower amenities were fabulous. A great spot for a stopover and the dogs loved it.

We loved our stay here! It felt very secluded and nice not having other campers around. The horses came and said hi from the edge of the paddock each day and the doggies on the property are friendly and played with our pup for a bit too. There’s a short walk to the toilet and nice warm shower. Very relaxing little getaway :)

We ended up staying extra days because we really enjoyed the spot. It's a decent walk to the showers but we don't mind the exercise. I'd totally stay again if I was in the area :)

The camp site was beautiful! Heaps of space to choose from. The toilet and shower is a bit if a walk, but the scenery is so lovely my partner and I enjoyed the short walk up and back. There is space for a camp fire, and logs are left around the place to use. The owners are lovely, and all of the animals were well behaved and friendly.

Great location with ample privacy. The shower & toilet are an added bonus & very much needed on those chilly mornings. Great place to unwind with the dogs & have a coffee by a roaring fire.
