We live in a beautiful valley on 30 acres, that not many people know about. We're joined by 3 friendly dogs, 4 horses, 2 alpacas, 4 Galloway cows and chooks, along with the resident wildlife including many birds, kangaroos, koalas, shy owls, and even an echidna! All this, plus beautiful views from atop our hills, right to the lake, and the delightful winter creek complete with frogs. We are close to the McLaren Vale wine region as well as wineries throughout the Hills and 35 minutes to the coast of Victor Harbor. The Greenman Inn is 5 minutes down the road and has wonderful food from Wed to Sun if you do not feel the urge to cook with wood fires for the cold nights or a gorgeous outdoor area for the warmer months. At present, we offer two areas for camping. Topspot which has lovely views and is quite secluded amongst the tree tops. This site is suitable for tents and camper trailers (need reasonable backing skills and 4WD) The Laneway which is close to the babbling creek is suitable for those with a small caravan, or motorhome, 2WD etc, along with tent campers. (but would struggle with large caravans/motorhomes - please check with hosts) (The Lookout/Highview has spectacular views and is suitable for tents and camper trailers, accessible by low-range 4WD (or AWD if the weather is dry) - Please note this site is currently closed due to stock rotation.) If you have any doubts about which to book, please ask. AUTUMN/WINTER MONTHS: if we receive considerable rain the trek up to the hill sites could become slippery and not accessible as it is a farm paddock, therefore unfortunately your booking may need to be cancelled. NOTE: On our farm there is limited phone coverage in the valley (The Laneway) Topspot and The Lookout/Highview do have coverage. Pets are welcome, however, please ensure they are kept under control (unless discussed with the host) at all times as we have our livestock and are surrounded by neighboring livestock, as well as the wildlife that frequently visits. Please note: This is an active small farm, therefore work may need be continued throughout your stay possibly necessitating the use of machinery and tending to our livestock. If you wish to see some of the animals up close, please let us know and we will try to accommodate. We ask that all fires be contained within the fire pit provided and a portable toilet is available for your use. BUSHFIRE SEASON: Wood and open fires are not permitted in the bushfire season, therefore you will not be able to use the fire pits.

Topspot
Stunning spot. We had a really enjoyable night with incredible sunset views. Sam and her partner are lovely hosts and the kids thoroughly enjoyed meeting all the farm animals in the morning on our way out. Camping spot is a bit dusty this time of year but to be completely expected this dry summer. Can't wait to visit again in spring/winter and see how the countryside transforms. First time using Hipacamp and it was a great success.

AMAZING SPOT! Don´t miss it
Sam and Chris were amazing hosts and received us with a little welcome gift. We loved camping at Topspot, the views are amazing, toilets are spotless and cozy and it even has some solar festoon lights set up on the site, not to mention the fact that you are on your own with no neighbours which makes it so much better. On our way out we spent some time with Chris while he showed us the horses, camels and cows. Highly recommended spot for camping away from everything.

The Laneway
Great place for a quiet camp in Adelaide Hills. Friendly hosts and great facilities. We stayed in January and although it was quite warm, we were able to set up in the shade and have a very comfortable site. Kids loved helping with feeding the animals.

Fantastic Stay
We absolutely LOVED staying at the Noorla Farm! The Topspot was fantastic, with the spectacular view of the mountains, fresh air and the privacy of the site. Sam & Chris were lovely hosts and made the stay extra special by greeting us with a gift box full of delicious goodies, and making sure the site was very comfy and cozy. Definitely recommended!

Camping with animals
An awesome place to camp. The views and surroundings are truly beautiful, a great place to unwind. Being able to see and interact with the farm animals was made if even more enjoyable. Sam and Chris were wonderful hosts, super hospitable and do an amazing job with the property. The cookies were yummy too. Will definitely be returning again.
