KI Caravan Park, Kingscote offers a family- and pet-friendly, beachside stay in a peaceful natural setting. With a mix of cabins, cottages, studios, and both powered and unpowered sites, there are plenty of options to suit your needs. Our studios and cabins accommodate between one and seven guests and are just a short walk from the beach. Perfectly located on Kangaroo Island, the park provides easy access to all the island’s attractions and is only 3 km from downtown Kingscote, the largest town on the island. This is the perfect park if you love peace and quiet, wildlife, and nature. Spot koalas, wallabies, and some of the island’s most beautiful birdlife right from the property. A highlight of the park is the camp kitchen, a welcoming gathering space with plenty of tables and chairs, two barbecues, a full-size stove and oven, fridge/freezer, and a dedicated fish/bait freezer. Whether you’re here for adventure, relaxation, or both, a wonderful experience awaits you at this beautiful caravan park in one of the world’s most amazing destinations!

Basic Fishermen’s Cottage 104 – caters to up to 2 people. Basic Cottage 106 – caters to up to 3 people (double bed and single bed in bunk bed configuration). Basic Cottage 105 – caters up to 4 people with a double bed and a set of bunk beds. All Basic Cottages are a small studio-style, self-contained cabins. They have a double bed. These units do NOT have an ensuite, but the park shower/toilet block is close by. Linen, towels and bedding are NOT included, but can be hired for a small fee. Studio 101 has a Queen bed and 4 single beds in bunk configuration with a double bed as the base of one of the bunks. Digital TV, large size fridge/freezer, cooking facilities and Reverse Cycle Air Conditioner. Linen, towels and bedding are included. This Studio cabin also has enclosed outdoor area with outdoor setting for 6 people. Single night surcharge applies, if staying only 1 night.

Fantastic caravan park
Powered Sites
Excellent amenities block and laundry, both super clean and well maintained. Entertaining/BBQ/camp kitchen/Happy hour area is one of the best I've seen. Two fridges, one for general use and the other for all the fish people catch. Comfortable chairs and plenty of tables. Combustion stove in the corner kept us warm. One of the guests asked if they could light it and the owners came straight over and lit it. Beach is just across the road, as well as a walking/cycle path into town. Everything you could want to do is in easy cycling distance.

Our 5th stay in the park and it keeps getting better every time. Great location, a minute’s walk to the beach. Neat & clean facilities, great camp kitchen & all well laid out. New owners Ros & Steve really care and are great to deal with. Would happily stay there again.

Loved my stay at Kingscote caravan park. Very campervan unpowered friendly with the choice of flat, grassy wildflower big sites. Great super clean amenities. Wonderful camp kitchen and a dishwashing area, super handy. The pushbike ride into town 3km along the top of beaches is amazing. Management are really nice, helpful and friendly. Overall 5 star stay for me. Great kangaroo island stop

Great place to stay!
Powered Sites
Amenities very clean, great location. Very friendly welcome! We stayed in a powered site with our camper trailer so I can’t rate the rooms. Very close to town, quick drive & cycle along the ocean path. Would definitely stay here again!
