This paddock is located close to the heart of Currency Creek. Camp close to the beautiful waterfall walk where you experience the grand viaduct structure first hand with its many years of history. Only 4klm outside of Goolwa to access the local pubs, wine, whisky tasting venues or even go cockling down at the mouth. This place is perfect to set up camp and wind down.

Camping in this spot in the paddock gives a great view of the cockle train as it slows down to compress the viaduct. Please see local train times for information. Guests must be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure. No pets are allowed, sorry.

Go for a walk to the viaduct or the waterfall or drive the beautiful wineries and towns. Camping near Goolwa

Caleb the host was great with clear instructions and was very welcoming. The lake view site is the furthest from the road but you can still get some noise. Nice walks and views and extremely close to Goolwa. We’ll probably be back.

Lovely site. Caleb was super friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend staying here again. Also super close to Middleton which was great for a swim!

Caleb’s Hipcamp is a lovely hill top spot with great views overlooking Currency Creek. It’s a short drive to the hikes, costal walks, cafes and restaurants of Port Elliot, Goolwa, Middleton as well as the wineries. And Caleb communicates quickly, makes it very easy to find and set up, plus providing local tips. Highly recommended.

Great family friendly camp!! The host/s are really friendly and helpful with local knowledge and things to do. Clean toilets available just across the road at the lions park, also a really cool walk there with an old train bridge, a cave/mine and a waterfall. Short drive to Victor Harbor which has heaps of things to do. We spent 3 nights at the camp and really enjoyed it

Beautiful spot with stunning views and lots of peace and quiet. Caleb is a really friendly and accommodating host. Super helpful to have toilets close by at the Lions Park. We had a great little get away.

We had a lovely stay with Caleb. The perfect paddock for a camp, sunsets, stars, a camp fire and an amazing sunrise... Clean toilet across the road at the lions park

Spacious and nice views. Caleb was very nice and accomodating. Close to Goolwa/ Hindmarsh Island for canoeing. You do hear the road a bit but not too much. Loved waking up with the sounds of all different kinds of birds
