Fantastic location, level ground, firewood available and rain water. A scattering of trees for shade if required but plenty of open space for solar. The wine tasting was great. Peter and Barb were fantastic hosts. We will definitely go back.

What a great stay! Centrally located to explore the National Parks and towns in the area, fabulous scenery and plenty of shade and shelter. As an added bonus for any birdwatchers, there is a trough full of clean water nearby which attracted a variety of birds. Port Lincoln offers a caravan dump point, drinking water refill and rubbish bins all together in Windsor Street - very convenient! We also had a fab lunch at The Fresh Fish Place.
This is our first trip to the Eyre Peninsula but it won't be our last - and when we return we will stay here again! Thank you for your hospitality, Peter.

Great spot in the paddock next to the winery. 14 minutes out of Port Lincoln. Lots of space and Peter kindly allowed us to have a small contained fire. Absolutely loved the wine tasting and happily walked away with few bottles.

HUGE flat paddock. Peter super responsive and the visit to the winery was great. Lovely wines. Must be self contained in paddock. Nice spot and about equidistant to Port Lincoln and Coffin Bay. Oysters HQ at Coffin Bay a must and / or Fresh Fish Place in Port Lincoln for superb seafood.

We thoroughly staying at Coomunga, very peaceful, lots of space and 1 other camp. Peter showed us his wine making facility, with a tasting of delicious Shiraz/Cabernet, cheese and biscuits. Bought a bottle to enjoy later. Certainly recommend

Beautiful quiet spot, Peter was an easy going nice guy. Had a really lovely couple of days relaxing and sightseeing as it is close to Port Lincoln and Coffin Bay. Highly recommend 😊

Beautiful secluded spot a the top, overlooking the paddock. Far enough from the road, that you can just see the traffic, but not hear it. If it's chilling out off-grid you're after, this is a top spot.
Peter, the host was very nice & came over the first evening just to check if everything was OK, then left us to it. Had use of the rain water from the tank next to us too.

We stayed here for 2 nights in order to be close to both Coffin Bay and Port Lincoln. The location was on a farm/boutique winery with great views over the rolling hills.
An optional inclusion was for wine tasting, which we took up. The wines were amazing, and Peter and Barbie were super accomodating.
We will definitely stay here again when we visit the area.
Directions were clear, and there is some rainwater available if necessary.

Peter, our host was absolutely wonderful. The location was sensational with amazing views and wonderful serenity. It was easy to get in and out of, and was very secure. Peters wines were very good and he's only too happy to sit down and chat with you. Highly recommend this place. You'll love it!!

Nice flat camp area in amongst the gums. A beautiful outlook over an open paddock then a gum forrest. Peter and Barbie were so hospitable and our kids loved spending time with Moet and Percy the dogs, and the horses.

Fantastic positioning between Port Lincoln and Coffin Bay. Perfect flat spot for a camper with nice field views.
Offered a free wine tasting which we missed, but Peter delivered us a few bottles of wine we ordered from him; the Sauvignon Blanc was fantastic.

Being from Port Lincoln it was great that we only had to travel 15mins out town to camp in peace & quiet amongst the gum trees. Great bird life, scenery and good level ground. Will do again.

Lovely peaceful camp-site, plenty of space and only 2 campers permitted so did not feel hemmed in. Definitely recommend this place for anyone seeking a tranquil environment near both Port Lincoln and Coffin Bay.

The camping area at Coomunga Wines is situated amongst a group of trees in the corner of a generally flat paddock and adjacent to an unused railway line. Entry is through double gates off a dirt road not far from the main road from Port Lincoln. There are plenty of options where to set up camp. We had it to ourselves and spent three nights and loved it. It is a good base to explore the area without the hassle of staying in a town or camped with other campers. Be aware however there are no facilities apart from a tank to get some drinking water. At $30 a night it is on the expensive side given the facilities but oh "the serenity ". Depends on how much value you place on peace and quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed our time camped here.

We loved the location of this property. Literally smack bang in the middle of Coffin Bay and Port Lincoln so great to explore. Peter was friendly and we were able to set up in the back part of the property so very private. Amazing little chocolatier across the road. Generous sampling and good prices. Coffee was good too.

We loved the peace and quiet. The stars at night were amazing. There was so much bird life flying in especially the mornings. Communication with Peter was great, loved his wine, wished we had bought more. For anyone travelling through it it a beautiful restorative place after being in a noisy caravan park.
