When you camp with us, you're not just having an amazing time – you're making a difference! Important Info for a Fantastic Stay: 🌿 Hipcamp Vibes: Remember, we're a Hipcamp bushland site, not a caravan park. Check out Hipcamp's website for helpful info on what to expect. 🌿 Spacious Sites: Our large, well-cared-for sites offer stunning views and plenty of room to roam. 🌿 Location, Location, Location: Nestled at the foothills of Victor Harbor on the Fleurieu Peninsula, our 8 unique sites provide breath-taking bushland and ocean views. Site Details: Site 1: Electric and dog fence friendly – a premium spot! Sites 2 & 3: Premium large sites with power (15amp to 10amp adaptor available). Gorgeous views and lots of grass. Sites 4 & 5: Large general sites with great views and space. Site 6: Premium bushland site – perfect for nature lovers. Sites 7 & 8: Large premium non-powered sites with lush lawns and incredible views. Amenities: 🚿 Stay Self-Contained: Portable showers and toilets are available, but we recommend bringing your own toilet paper. ♻️ Waste Management: Please take your rubbish with you as we don't provide a rubbish service. 💧 Potable Water: Available at all sites. 🍳 Camp Kitchen & Wi-Fi: Enjoy our extensive camp kitchen and Wi-Fi across the park. Good to Know: #Victor Harbor Dump Point: Located 3 km from our park for your convenience. Please don't empty your cassettes into our portable toilets, that's simply not what they are there for and would be very unfair! #No Noise Policy: Quiet hours are from 10:30pm to 6:30am – let's keep the retreat peaceful for everyone. #Safety First: Discreet CCTV cameras are situated around the site for your safety. #Reviews: We love hearing from you! Please remember we're a genuine Not-for-Profit charity before leaving feedback. A simple message can usually resolve any issues. #Our site is multipurpose, with a group accommodation area adjacent. Final Tips: # Check individual site details for the best fit. # Enjoy the spacious lawns but avoid placing mats on them. # Remember, you're in a bushland setting – bring bug repellent! # Winter fires allowed in BYO fire pits on our designated hard surface. Fire wood available for $15 onsite. We can't wait to welcome you to Cooinda Retreats! Get ready for a unique, nature-filled adventure that supports a great cause. See you soon! 🌞🌿🛶

Great facilities, spotlessly clean. Hot showers with great pressure. Nicest smelling portaloo ever! Caretakers friendly and welcoming and happy to help. 2b is a nice flat spacious site with ocean glimpses. Would stay again and recommend to people looking to camp and willing to pay for a little added convenience/comfort.

June Long weekend
We had a wonderful stay at Cooinda Retreats. Julie and Adrian were very welcoming and helpful. Site 2B has a beautiful view and was lush a grassed area The current access area to the site is pretty tight for a van and Ute as there is a gum tree either side. There is an option of another access area which would be easier to manoeuvre right next to it but only has one tree which if the lower branches were trimmed would be perfect Toilets are clean and well maintained should you need to use them

Beautiful place
The campsite facilities were well-maintained and clean, providing us with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. Whether we were roasting marshmallows by the campfire, simply stargazing under the clear night sky, every moment spent at this campsite was filled with joy and relaxation. We left feeling rejuvenated and grateful for the memories we made at this beautiful campsite. We can't wait to return and experience the magic all over again. Highly recommend this campsite to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in nature.
