It is with great sadness that due to circumstances beyond our control, at this stage, are forcing us to cease sharing our property by 27th November 2025. We have thoroughly enjoyed meeting and making friendships with visitors and invite you to still contact us and visit the farm and animals. Cheryl 0421 521 733 This 20 acre working property is dedicated to our horses, dogs, birds and relaxing! You are welcome to wander into the big paddock to access the walking trails and continue on to explore the scrub area where many native birds come and go including kookaburras. The line of trees planted in the gully area are dedicated koala forage trees so also wander down there and have a look and see if you can spot one. Your relaxed property walk will take you past paddocked sheep (they may run up to you if they think you have something for them to eat. Cut apples or carrots into pieces for them ) Rams and Whethers are together in their own paddock, alpacas and Bobby are in with the Ewes and any lambs at the time protecting them from predators in another paddock. There are horses, Dallas the mule (please do not enter their paddocks) , wild ducks at the dam, as well as our ducks and geese if they are out of their enclosure that day. There are raceways between all paddocks to continue your walk all around the property. Beware of the electric fencing though, it hurts if you touch it! We also have some very friendly chooks and turkeys that LOVE to say hello and be hand fed chopped up pieces of apple, carrot, grapes and especially watermelon! Feel free to give them any food scraps you might have. We also have a family of magpies will enjoy any meat scraps you leave for them too.Dallas, our mule is always up for a bit of attention and any apples or carrots you might like to share with him. Dallas is rather special as his dad is a "mammoth donkey" who has been imported from America. His mum is a stunning thoroughbred. Mammoth donkeys are a bigger/taller breed of donkey than Australian donkeys are. They are beginning to be used up north on stations instead of horses as mules are sturdier, more sure footed, not as flighty as horses so safer for stock men and women to use working with cattle. They can live into their late 30,s so have a longer working life as well. Dallas was born in 2023 Campsites 1, 2 and 3 are on the right hand side as you drive in via the automatic opening gate which you will be given access to once we have added your mobile number to the system after you have booked. We are currently planting more native shrubs and trees in this area to encourage even more bird life plus provide future windbreaks and further divide sites. From this area you will see the most spectacular sunsets and be able to have an open campfire during winter season. The Dam It site, Tree line site and Solar paddock site are through another gate on the left hand side opposite site 3/ the paddock with the solar panels in it before you reach our residence, aviaries and toilet. It is also through this gate you go to access the walking trails. Besides sitting back relaxing reading a book with a nice local wine in your hand there are other nearby options to fill your days while staying on our property. Take a short drive down Goldsfield Rd to the Mining Museum and hiking trails. A few KM's towards Williamstown stop in and see the Whispering Wall, built between 1899 and 1903, for its time of construction the dam was deemed a revolutionary engineering marvel. Sounds and voices, even a whisper can be clearly heard at the other end of the dam more then 100 meters away. Continue on through Williamstown and hire a kayak and explore the Warren Reservoir with the resident pelicans. The Warren reservoir was built on the South Para River between 1914 and 1916. Mt Crawford forest is then another short drive on where you can hike, ride and picnic and be guaranteed to see kangaroos in their natural habitat. We are also ideally located being at the gateway to numerous wineries, take your e-bike and explore the towns in the Barossa Valley which are linked with rose lined bitumen trails, explore the shops, cafes and enjoy delectable food, stop in at the Lavender Farm, treat yourself to a scenic flights with Barossa Helicopters or challenge yourself at Barossa Bowland and fantastic themed Dinosaur mini golf just to name even more options! Less than 10 minute drive from our front gate will have you at the lovely town of Lyndoch where the local IGA is a handy stop for those emergency essentials as well as the local bakery, craft shop, pub, post office, Lord of Lyndoch restaurant, Table Cafe Kies winery for starters. 10 Minures the other direction will see you at a new suburb Springwood which has a variety of shops and a Chemist, couple minutes further will have you at the lovely town of Gawler. The visitor center here is also home to local artists to exhibit their works. Like to kayak? Well a short drive will take you to spectacular opportunities to do so. Hire is also available at the site at different times of the year. Love exploring by bike? You are at the heartland of multiple trails you can access too. Local bike hire options are available too. As you can see, you have plenty of options to tailor your stay to suit the type of experience you are after. No responsibility taken for any injury or accident to Campers, their property and pets while camping at Tiny Vacations. Pets are welcome but must be dogs on a lead at all times due to stock onsite and neighboring properties. Veterinary costs/wound care costs etc to any stock caused by campers pets will be at the owners cost.

Site 5 is near the property dam. Wild ducks come when the dam has water in it and love being fed peas. Possums live in the trees here so you might be lucky to see them come out at night. There is a flat area for you to pitch your tent several metres from a gravel parking spot. Picnic table and chairs onsite for your convenience. Please keep comfort and cooking fires small to avoid flying embers setting trees alight. Light firewood can be found so bringing sone of your own as well might be helpful

We have thoroughly enjoyed meeting and making friendships with visitors and invite you to still contact us and visit the farm and animals. Cheryl 0421 521 733 Exciting news! We’re the most-visited @hipcamp in the council area so far this year! Huge thanks to all the Hipcampers who’ve visited, stayed, and shared their adventures. We can’t wait to welcome even more of you in the future! 🌿🏕️ Site 2 is the second area on the right as you drive up the driveway, just after you pass the Tiny Home. Here you will enjoy beautiful sunsets watching kangaroos grazing in a near by paddock in the late afternoons, followed by stunning sunsets. The area is app 10x13m with an area reasonably level for ease of setting up tent or leveling your vehicle. There is a grassed area and firepit for your enjoyment We recommend bringing some of your own firewood 😉 Toilet facility is a short walk. While you are there have a chat to Nigel and Coral the Corellas who will say hello and ask what you are doing. Nigel is a long billed Corella and Coral is a short billed Corella. There are other birds there for you to see as well. Do not put your fingers near Nigel or Coral as they might bite. They are both rescue birds. They enjoy nuts, apples and grass for treat. Take a stroll around the property via fenced tracks...access is via a gate going into the paddock where sites 4,5, 6 and 7 are...where the big solar panels are. Beware....stock fences are electric 19 D Goldfields Rd cockatoo Valley is also the home to various artwork I create, at times I have items for sale onsite. Artwork varies from Mosaic work, micro mosaic jewellery and Needle felted sculptures

Beautiful spot to sit back and enjoy the sunset and see the kangaroos venture out for their evening feed in the paddock opposite the camping area (west). There is the option to drive through, and a second van reverse in for those travelling together. There is a small grassed area, and firepit (we recommend bringing some of your own firewood) This site is the closest to the toilet, bird avaries, mosaic display with items for purchase and the main residence. Walk through the gate into the paddock where the solar panel system is and take a stroll around the property via fenced tracks. It is opposite sites 1,2 and 3 but IN the paddock(solar panels are your landmark) where our sheep roam and may visit. The sheep often rest under the solar panel framing during the day near your site, and enjoy your left over greens/vegies/fruit or a piece of bread, as do the alpacas in a yard near Site 4. This site you have an uninterrupted view over the property and closer access to the hiking tracks. It is still close to the bird aviaries and onsite toilet if you are not self contained. Some levelling will still be required as with all sites. There is a row of shrubs/small trees that provide a wind break and a bit of privacy from Sites 1,2 and 3. We are developing a small grassed area, and have put gravel on the site to make winter stays more enjoyable. Fire pit is there ready for you to enjoy in fire season too. We recommend bringing some of your own firewood. Beware....Stock fences are electric.
