We are located in the '14 river crossings' Cambanoora Gorge, just 2.5 hrs from Brisbane and the Gold Coast. This 1500 acre working cattle and horse property offers a variety of completely private, riverside campsites. * 4WD access only. Suitable for fully self-contained camper trailers, and high clearance, four-wheel-drive camping outfits.  * Note Campers must be self-contained and bring their own camping toilet. (No holes in the ground, must be a chemical toilet where you take your waste with you). * We are dog-friendly but they must be cattle, horse and wildlife-friendly. You can BYO horse for $12 per horse per day, and keep it in our secure yards. You are welcome to explore the Cambanoora Gorge (it's part of the national trail) and/or our property on your horse. The site is level with good views of the surrounding valley and cliff lines. It's large enough for a few families to share. Lovely walking track along the river and room to kick the footy or slug the cricket ball. Note: we have a leave no trace policy, so campers MUST bring their own camping toilet.

Scenic spot in our river flat paddock, fronting a good swimming spot at the junction of the Condamine and Blackfellas Gully.  Space for all the family and a few friends. Great views of the escarpment and cliff lines which throw magical colours on sunset. Keep an eye out for the platypus as well. Central fire pit for a campfire (subject to fire bans)

This site is ideal for large group bookings. It has spectacular views into the gorge and of the cliffs and is located on the riverbank, it offers a few swimming spots, on the fringe of a cultivation paddock. An old combine provides a good fire pit seat and an antique plough shows how the paddock used to be worked up and seeded. A lovely riverside Pepperina tree provides a shady spot for a picnic or sundowner.

Located on a flat shelf in our river flat paddock, this pretty site is named after the beautiful tall yellowjacket trees that provide shade for cattle. It fronts a nice swimming hole that is also home to platypus between the site and our historic cattle yards. Like most of our sites, it has lovely escarpment views. Access requires a four-wheel-drive vehicle and a high clearance camper trailer. Note: we have a leave no trace policy, so campers MUST bring their own camping toilet.

Riverbend is a spacious campsite perched upon the banks of the Condamine River among grand old eucalypts with expansive views of the cliffs and escarpments of the Great Dividing Range. Access to this site is also suitable for 2wd vehicles excluding wet weather events.

This site is easily accessed from Condamine River Road by all vehicle types. It is excellent for larger groups and has power, water, a toilet and a hot shower. The gently sloping site has a beautifully manicured lawn and garden area with shade trees and a concrete slab to use for an annexe or sit around a fire drum. There is a generous-sized horse paddock, perfect for horse enthusiasts to bring their horse and trail ride on our property or through Cambanoora Gorge (Liability Waiver to be signed). It has excellent views of the surrounding valley and cliff lines and is only a short walk to the river. Note: we have a leave-no-trace policy, so campers MUST take their rubbish with them.

This site is easily accessed from Condamine River Road by all vehicle types. It is where the original homestead of over 140 years was located. Beautiful manicured lawn and garden area with shade trees. An ideal site for those who are not self-contained as it has its own toilet/shower and power. There is a generous sized horse paddock as well as yard and so it is perfect for horse enthusiasts to bring their own horse and trail ride either on our property or through Cambanoora Gorge (Liability Waiver to be signed). Wynola Country Cousins The Junction
Beautiful views of the mountains and the river. The Condamine River is a clean flowing gem where it passes through this property and we had glimpses of platypus each evening. Heard a Koala at night but did not spot him. Colourful parrots to see and bell birds, whip birds and magpies songs to hear - so relaxing.

We have stayed a few times now and it never disappoints. Beautiful outlooks, private, very large well maintained sites, and so handy to town for a great pub meal. Thanks Bernie and Jo for another wonderful weekend break.

Bernie was great and such a nice bloke! Very hospitable and helpful. The camp ground is amazing and clean and very well looked after! The kids had so much private space play and it was just fantastic to have the opportunity to stay on such a beautiful piece of property. We even got a little afternoon storm on night 2 and it was awesome! We will be back very soon!

Wynola Country Cousins The Junction
Beautiful campsite along the river with spectacular views. Site is isolated from other sites with plenty of room. The kids had a blast playing in the river which had has everything from ankle deep water flowing over rocks to head high pockets. The 14 river crossing drive loop from the property up to Queen Mary Falls and back through Killarney is stunning. Bernie is a fantastic host with great and responsive communication and some great suggestions for things to do in the local area. Highly recommended

Beautiful property. Very peaceful and gorgeous views. Owners are very friendly and accommodating. Very close to town if you need supplies or want to go for a pub lunch or dinner. I wouldn't recommend this particular site for families with smaller children as the creek is only accessed by a very steep, rocky track but otherwise loved it and would be keen to check out some of the other sites next time. Thanks for a great stay!

Second time back, this time at a different site to explore a new spot, and couldn’t be happier! Easy directions, pristine site right on the creek, quiet and tranquil. We spent the afternoon watching the water dragons in the creek before we headed up the road to the pub for dinner which is a short drive away (best of both worlds, cook at camp or head into town and support local). This spot is also part-fenced which is perfect for those bringing dogs. Thanks again Bernie and Jo, we love camping on the wonderful property you have to offer in such a beautiful part of QLD, makes us feel right at home visiting from our own property in the Lockyer. Next time we’ll bring the horses out to explore!

We enjoyed a couple of nights beside the Condamine River. Bernie having grown up on the property was very knowledgeable about the area. The sites were well spread out and maintained with great views and access to the river.

My son and I spend the night, and it was so peaceful. The night sky is uninterrupted by light pollution. Can be fresh during the night so make sure your kids throw in some warm clothing, even in Summer. Water is awesome and Bernie and Jo are excellent hosts.

Great spot to camp with friends, take out horses and go for scenic trail rides. Paddock was secure and well appointed. Shelter with yard was safe. Best little toilet block with super hot shower. Couldn’t have asked for more.

5/5 stars! Not one complaint! Our campsite was absolutely beautiful! Yellow Jacket! Bernie was incredible! We got firewood, and received recommendations to site see in the area! Our stay was nothing short of amazing! Only complaint I have is working tomorrow, and not being able to stay extra nights! We will be back and cannot wait for our next adventure!

What a wonderful camp spot! Plenty of room for our group of three camps, flat mown grass with a fire pit. Lovely creek right beside camp and even spotted the resident platypus which was so special. Beautiful surroundings and view. There was a barking dog on nearby property but the sounds of cockatoos was quick to dull the noise. Would definitely recommend this campsite!

Such an amazing spot to camp, well maintained and was great to be able to camp on nice green grass for a change, very open and water is amazing, can’t wait to come back on a summer day will be perfect 10/10 highly recommend
