Wonderland is only 9.5km from Mission Beach set on 12 acres of farm land and beautiful rainforest. The camp ground is nestled on the fringe of the rainforest with a beautiful little sandy creek. Must be self sufficient and take your rubbish with you. We have clean running water at taps around grounds.

Dennis was absolutely lovely & very easy to chat to. Wonderland is a magical place! Lots of good energy and flat ground for any type of camping. Lovely slice of rainforest. Highly recommend! I even saw a cassowary on my last day!!

Dennis and his family were lovely! So friendly and inviting. It had been raining a lot in mission beach but we expected that. The family helped us build a fire and we had the most tranquil night under the stars camped in the rainforest. In the morning a cassowary walked straight past our camp-site and it will be an unforgettable experience!

Great campsite
Loved camping at wonderland! Very accomodating and friendly family and a unique place to camp. Would definitely go again.

Has Potential
Only a new Hipcamp property opened up & hopefully in time will improve. We chose a wet weekend “our own fault” , but left a day early as red mud was just overwhelming & Hungry Roosters were annoying to us & other campers trying to find food & would not give up. We had 2 small dogs that were not happy with Roosters continuously cruising camp site for food. We did see them steal food from other campers table. Campsite has potential, but all 4 camps very close & could become a little noisy. Just my personal preference to be away from others. I wish Dennis & Emma every success & in time Wonderland could become a great spot for small groups to book out for a great weekend as long as not raining. Hopefully Roosters are relocated
