The campsite.
The sites were very nice, flat and mostly grassy with a good amount of shade. Traffic wasn't audible and no roads were visible so it felt secluded.
The amenities.
Toilets were not far from any of the sites. We brought our own but some had hand sanitizer and toilet paper if you needed it. The fire pits were spacious and the iron grill made cooking over our fire easy. The covered area had very comfortable seating and the pool and ping pong table were good fun. Ask ahead of time if you want the lights to work.
The animals.
The was good company and stayed with us almost the entire time as we were the only ones there, he also kept guard at night. We had an issue when playing the games we brought because the dog would chew up our balls and even jumped on the ping pong table which cut our game short. The cows kept a respectable distance.

Lovely relaxing place! Plenty of room for the kids and dogs to explore. Deb was a great host and her daughter picked up the kids one morning and took them to feed the horses. Would be great for large groups.

I organised a group of us to stay over the Anzac long weekend and we all had the best time. The host Deb was extremely accommodating with her hospitality, even from the booking point through to coming to say hi and making sure we were all having a good time. There was plenty of space for lots of groups to camp without being on top of each other; drop toilets on offer and the ability to have a camp fire was the final touch. Not far from Rosewood to go for supplies if needed as well. Would definately recommend this place for a great weekend getaway - there's also an undercover area that can be hired for parties which is what one couple in our group are considering for their daughter's 21st birthday next year. Could also be a potential venue for some caravan club members to come to freecamp. Thanks Deb for opening your grounds to fellow campers - it certainly was a Hideaway gem!

Great spot to relax! Highly recommend. Hospitality was great with Debs daughter taking the kids to feed and groom the horses. Plenty of space to explore for the kids and great for the dogs! Drop toilets were fine to use.... Bring your own fire pit or use one of many fire rings around the place.

It's a good place where camp, lovely host, Deborah is very kind. There are composting toilet and a little shower. Please bring your own water and be prepared to cook in the campfire (no electricity), it's an amazing experience. I really enjoyed,

Great little spot. Deb and family are available to assist and also leave you alone to relax.

Awesome place beautiful scenery and loads of room to move around. We loved the pool table and the kids enjoyed the ping pong table too.

This is one of gems that are hard to find to top it off deborah is a fantastic host. She was very accomadating to our last minute booking. We loved it so much going back again next weekend.

Absolutely fantastic,it was the most relaxing weekend I’ve had for a long time.Deborah was a great 👍 host.One thing I would like to make mention is that when they say pet friendly they mean it.We had “ Rusty “ a kelpie cross come and visit and stayed,fantastic.We found out he belonged to Deborah, such a beautiful dog which we have lots of photos.
Definitely recommend this piece of paradise.

On arrival, we were warmly greeted by Rusty, who stayed until the next 'new' campers arrived so he could greet them as well. Late on our first day, Deb, our host, came to chat and make sure we had settled in well. There is plenty of shade to set up, or sunny spots if that's what you'd prefer, and the grass (scrub, not grass, but you know what I mean!) is short and maintained. Most of the campers were very quiet, except for the whip-cracking from a nearby large group late at night when most campers nearby us had retired for the night. There's plenty of twigs and small branches that the kids can gather for kindling to start your fire. I would suggest taking your own porta-potti rather than use the long-drops. Or head into the nearby towns, have a meal or cold drink at the pub and use the amenities there.
Being so close to Brisbane, this spot is ideal if you want a quick 1 or 2 night camp, and spend some time out and about exploring the region and giving the small towns some of your business. If you want lights on over at the structures (if playing pool etc) you will need to bring a generator. During our stay though, we didn't see anyone over there after dark.
Overall we really enjoyed our 2 night camp at Deb's.

Definitely recommend staying at Western Creek Hideaway! Deborah was super accommodating to our every needs, the common area was really spacious and and perfect for entertaining. Rusty stayed with use the whole night and was super cute and friendly. We really enjoyed the tents which were set up for us upon arrival which made the trip stress free. We really enjoyed the camp area we were set up in, the view was beautiful, it was nestled away so we felt a complete sense of privacy, and was located close to toilets which was very convenient.

We loved camping here and we were very grateful for the buildings when it rained. Deb is a wonderful hostess with the mostess and we really liked how she came around and met everyone to make them feel welcome. I said pet, I said love, I said DARL. See you in October. 😉

Great property with plenty of room for kids to play, explore and just be kids. Plenty of flat ground for those who need it like us. Easy to find as well! Owners are lovely. Definitely recommend and will definitely go again!

Deb was an amazing host. She got us in last minute when our site in NSW cancelled due to covid - she saved our Easter! Lots of space and a water hole which the kids (and adults) swam in day and early evening. Dog friendly so the whole family could come. The kids loved the pony rides too which was a nice suprise as we werent expecting theyd get to do anything like that. Overall an awesome Easter on an amazing property. Cant thank Deb enough!
