Located on the stunning Magnetic Island we have an off grid camping area. With absolute beach frontage, this little spot is host to one of the best sunsets in Australia. Campers are required to be self contained but can have use of shower and toilet facilities. Campers must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Fishing approximately 50m from the door step produces some good fish including Barra, queenfish and grunter. A 15 minute drive and you're at Picnic bay where you can enjoy a pub feed, cold beverage or a round of golf. Please note that there's approx 6km of dirt rd to get here including a few causeways that will flow in wet season. 4WD is recommended.

      My husband and I loved staying at Heath's place. Uninterrupted ocean views, sleeping under the stars and a camp fire to keep us warm. Heath's is a warm, helpful and welcoming host. Would definitely recommend staying here to anyone wanting a back to nature experience.

      The location is amazing right across from the beach. Very peaceful and lots of wildlife. Heath, when home is very chilled and relaxed.

      Camping with a million dollar view

      The view. WOW!! Such a beautiful spot to pull up and camp for a few days. We stayed with our dogs and enjoyed walking 50 meters to the beach.
