Whether you want a couples retreat, a group camp with friends or simply the chance to pack your car, kids, and dog and head off to the country. Don’t have a million dollar caravan with all the camping bells and whistles, don’t worry, the camp kitchen has nearly everything you could need to enjoy your time away. This property is the perfect place to relax, enjoy some peace and quiet, and get back to nature. Veterans Respite is a mix of native bushland and grazing pastures with either sheep or cattle roaming throughout. A Campfire is permitted in the designated fire-pit. Access is via a dirt track and is 4WD suitable. The camp site is flat and grassy and can accommodate off-road caravans and tents. There is a camp kitchen and rudimentary toilet/shower amenities, however guests are encouraged to be fully self-contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure. Pets are allowed but must be supervised at all times as there is potentially sheep and cattle, as well as native wildlife on the property. Located on the Granite Belt, 25 minutes from Stanthorpe, 45 minutes from Warwick and 3 hours from Brisbane.Flat grassed area with access to camp kitchen and thunder box. Veterans’ Respite Camp
We had the pleasure of been the first to camp in this beautiful spot. Very secluded with an awesome little river and camp kitchen set up.
