For a quick getaway we booked a local campsite. Unfortunately there was a fire ban on the Kings birthday long weekend however we respected that and still camped. We explored the property and found a lovely water hole trickling would be amazing with some rain. Easy to find, easy access, grounds were clean, found the gate was opened and several vehicles drove in out over the weekend. The amenities block which was advertised needs a good tidying up even some solar lighting especially at night. We paid for a powered site however found it was too far away for our cord so we just used our solar off grid on the van as there were other campers. Happy to support the scouts in our local community.

There were junkies living in the corner of the camp area having a domestic at 5am and the toilets were foul

Site 2a
Arrived and found the property easily enough. Site one was identified well however sites two and three were not readily identifiable. Found a spot adjacent to the toilet block near the road. Unfortunately we woke to the property being used to hold what appeared to be a cross country running event, so noise was an issue for us from an early hour of the morning. Apart from that, it was a pleasant spot to stop.
