This campsite offers a peaceful and natural setting close to Brisbane, providing a serene getaway without the city noise. The site is spacious, well-maintained, and equipped with amenities like a fire pit and free firewood. The hosts, Tish and Steve, are consistently praised for their helpfulness and warm hospitality, making guests feel welcome and comfortable. Some reviews mention minor road noise, but overall, the experience is described as relaxing and enjoyable with plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities.
Excellent flat site very close to Brisbane city without the noise or fuss!!
You get a little adventure driving up to the site, 4WD only!
We toed our camping trailer up and had lots of space to turn and pick multiple ways to set up.
Plenty of trees for shade and a fire pit set up ready to go.
Tish is a lovely host and very accommodating 🙏
Great location only 5mins drive to Sirromet Winery, short walk from road to campsite for uber pickup/drop-off. Campsite down a hill so road not visible from site, open flat space surrounded by tree's. Would definitely stay again for next Sirromet concert.
The site was perfect for a quick local getaway. Definitely 4wd access but the site was tidy, great size, good firepit and grassy. Comms with host were easy. Will definitely be back.
Tish was a wonderful host and very accomodating to our needs. Checking in late and navigating the property was made easier as she showed us directly to our site. Thank you again!
Lovely quick stay. Only 1 night. Host was very accommodating.
Great spot, private, easy directions.
Will need 4WD
And suggest bringing firewood, none supplied.
Great hiking & mountain bike facilities just down the road 👌 kids had a great time
Charming and tranquil retreat that lives up to it's name.
Beautiful property that's well maintained and perfect for a weekend getaway.
Tish is such a friendly and welcoming host too; friendly and very helpful. Will be returning for another trip soon!
2nd time to this site and was just as enjoyable! Beautiful and relaxing spot in bushland. Well maintained and owners are very friendly. Highly recommend! Thanks again!
Incredible property! So close to some fun tracks for 4x4, bush walking and MTB!! Hosts were fantastic and kindly gave us a wheel barrow full of fire wood. Will absolutely be back again
This is a great campsite and better than we expected, considering we didnt know if we would get our small offroad caravan into the site, but the host's were super friendly and helpfull to let us use the campsite at the dam as we wouldnt have gotten to the main campsite with the van on. It was very relaxing sitting by the dam and around the fire listening to the birds, with a little road noise at times but nothing to interfere with the tranquility of this little slice of paradise in the bush. Perfect for a weekend getaway and we will definately be back.
We had a lovely weekend away. Perfect to relax and just enjoy the natural surroundings. The dam is lovely for a little paddle in the kayak. Thank you for sharing your bit of nature with us. We will be back again.
Overall we had a great experience! Trish is a lovely host, very helpful and informative. The property was beautiful and felt very private for the most part. We had visits from possums and even a king nosed potoroo! We were thrilled. The only thing I would take note of is that there is a bit of traffic noise in comparison to some other sites we’ve stayed at. Otherwise it was a really pleasant stay 🏕️
Great spot located just outside the Brisbane CBD. Campsites are located away from the house in a secluded section and also away from each other. The hosts are clearing their property so they also have free firewood at the moment which is amazing! Great spot and I’ll definitely be back!
Just me, a swag and the stars. This was the perfect place to stay for the night and the hosts couldn't have been more helpful.
It was exactly as described, extremely well priced a and had an abundance of complimentary firewood.
Just beautiful is the perfect description its exactly what the name described tranquil.
