The views were great. Peter and Renee were so lovely and helpful. It was great to be able to take my dog. We went on walks . Would be going back again.

What a great weekend
Warm welcoming from our hosts Peter and Renee.. can't forget nugget and molly..
My granddaughter billie had an awesome time on the slippery slide and bike riding on the bike tracks.
We will be diffently going back.

Unfortunately the campsite is set up much too close to the highway. We had booked for 3 nights but left after two as the loud trucks and cars kept us awake all night. It just wasn't the quiet camping we were looking for.
They have a great set up though. They've got a bike/go kart bush trail and a lovely small dam to sit and watch the sunset over. We saw loads of kangaroos in the paddock next door. Toilets were clean and well maintained and the grounds cleared of leaves and rocks. Pete was very friendly and helpful.
They mentioned the highway is moving so when that happens, that'll make this a wonderful spot.

Peter and Renee were the loveliest hosts and they make us feel right at home. Communication was easy even though we made a very last minute booking. We arrived late at night from a big drive and there was a nice campfire waiting for us. The block was tidy and well looked after, bathrooms were super clean, and it was a treat to meet their cool doggo, Nugget. We wish we would have stayed there longer to get to know these three beauties but sadly we had to get going. Next time we'll make sure we save a bit of time for a bevy around the fire with Pete and Renee. Thanks so much to you two x

Camping with Peter & Rene was fantastic and they are very friendly hosts. . A great location with large spaces and great amenities. They are constantly working on ways to improve & have some exciting plans for the future. We will not hesitate to return.

I had an amazing experience at Luke’s Compound! The campsite is beautifully maintained, peaceful, and surrounded by nature—perfect for a relaxing getaway. Luke is an incredibly welcoming and thoughtful host who goes above and beyond to make sure guests are comfortable. The facilities were clean, the atmosphere was friendly, and everything felt safe and well-organized. Whether you’re camping solo or with friends or family, this is a spot I’d highly recommend. I’m already looking forward to coming back!

We had such a great stay at Peter and Renee’s! They were both really hospitable and welcoming and made us feel at home. The campsite was beautiful with plenty of space between sites, great facilities and right next to a nice lake. Would definitely recommend!

Had an amazing night at TLC (The Luke’s Compound). Beautiful grounds and campsite. Very clean and well kept. Peter and Renee were a lovely, friendly couple with a great sense of humour and were very happy to help with anything we required.
Definitely will stay again when we are travelling in Queensland.

My friends and I had an incredible stay with Peter and Renee. From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond to make us feel genuinely welcome. They've created such a beautiful, inviting community of campers, and it was clear how much care they put into fostering that atmosphere. They even took the time to help us with our fire and made a real effort to get to know everyone staying there. I truly can’t recommend this campsite highly enough!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The host was amazing, friendly, and always ready to help. There was a slide for the kids, and they loved it. The property was easy to find and the toilet was very clean. We’ll definitely come back with more people

Stunning scenery, yes the highway is close... no it's not over powering the sound of the trucks at a distance was lovely.
Amazing owners/ host and lovely tidy toilets, the firepit was awesome and the wood burnt beautifully, surroundings were lovely. It was rather busy being easter weekend but the sites are nicely spaced out and spacious enough no one was ontop of one another nor did we have to acknowledge others unless we chose to. Kids that were there had a blast and we definitely plan on taking ours out there with the dogs as well, very refreshing weekend.
We thoroughly enjoyed the set up and walk around the grounds not to mention the exploring was epic. Can't wait to see what the host do with the place in the coming months we will be going back for sure.

We really enjoyed our night away at T.L.C! Peter was super welcoming and has a great sense of humour! They have done such a great job setting up everything. The sites are nicely spaced and the amenities were in very tidy condition! The jumping castle and bikes for the kids were a fantastic surprise too. Definitely recommend!

Great stop over just off Bruce Highway. Peter is an amazing host and couldn’t do enough for us to ensure we had a great stay. They have plans to continue to enhance the camp overtime. We will be back next time we are passing thru.

Easy to find. The owners were friendly and accommodating. The site was flat and ideal for camping. I felt safe as a solo female traveller. The bathroom was easily accessible and really clean. I will return again on my next trip.

We were one of only two groups staying at ‘The Luke’s compound’ which meant we had most of the place to ourselves.
The sites are flat and dusty as there is not much grass yet. Watch out for glass on the ground if you have kids / pets as we found a lot.
The hosts live onsite near to where the campsites are and are really lovely and very accommodating. They have done an amazing job at preparing the block for campers so far.
There is a clean toilet block which has 2 male and 2 female toilets. The host provides plenty of toilet paper, hand soap and paper towel, which is great.
The kids had a great time on the large inflatable slide and setting the yabby pots in the dam.
Unfortunately, the road noise from the Bruce Hwy was very loud and constant throughout the day and night. The sites are only set back about 100m from the road.
As we had booked quite last minute we were thankful to have found a place large enough for our group. However, unless you’re looking for a stopover on your way through on the highway and don’t mind the noise, this is not ideal for peaceful camping. There is plenty of privacy from the trees between the road and the sites though. We still had a great time as a group, Thank you Pete!

Peter and Renee were the perfect hosts. There when I needed them, but they respected my privacy. The camping spaces are well designed. My two fur babies loved swimming in the dam. A new project for them but they have a few wonderful ideas for further development. I am looking forward to seeing how it develops. Great spot for a few days or a quick stopover

All the sites are beautifully maintained, each with a private campfire and logs to sit on. We stayed right next to the water and enjoyed the views over the dam, especially at sunset when the horizon turned orange. 🌅
There are new, clean toilets, and with upcoming showers, this place is going to have everything you could ask for. It’s a large property where you can wander around, and there is also an inflatable slide for the kids. This way, parents can relax by the fire and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. 🌳
Thanks to Peter, Renee, and Willy for their hospitality and for ensuring we had everything for a great stay!

Great little spot, our kids LOVED the bike tracks and Jumping Castle. Hosts were super lovely and very welcoming, amenities were very clean & tidy. Fire pit was a hit, we’ll definitely be back.

One of the best camping experiences of my life. A new site, and really well thought through and laid out. It is very clear that a lot of thought and hard work has gone into the site, and I am sure it has a bright future ahead! A hidden gem in a wonderful part of the world.
I was greated with a warm welcome, and Pete was so happy to help, despite my very short notice. Having set myself up and been provided firewood I spent a fabtastic evening in a beautiful location! The facilities that were listed were really good quality, as well.
I cannot recommend this highly enough of your passing by and looking for a great spot! I am really looking forward to getting to come back for a bit of a longer stay.

TLC was well signed on the highway, only about 2 klm south of Tiaro. On arrival Willy & Pete were welcoming and friendly, with Pete helping us to our site.
We requested close to the dam and toilets. Which I will say every site is close. The toilets were great. All flushing with sink, soap & paper towels. They were cleaned everyday. There was also power if you needed to quickly charge your phone.
I had full phone / internet coverage with Optus.
We had a load of wood delivered to the site and it was great value and good wood- burnt well - way better than your brought firewood at the servo.
TLC is new a new camp and they have great plans for the future- I wish them all the best.

Fantastic spot very clean and presentable Pete was so helpful, supplied us with firewood. Great bicycle track for the kids, it rained while we were there and the sites drain off really good towards the dam. Phone coverage was excellent. Would recommend TLC to anyone.
