Not recommended for kids 😕 as surrounding house and people weren't friendly as children explore the bush

The toilet shed could easily be a shower too and also no tap on hand for water supply

Great private campsite, clean toilet. It was a shame that the weather was not in our favour as it as very muddy
This place would be great in perfect weather.

A really nice place, is actually in some one’s back yard of property. Friendly kangaroo just meters away. House was visible but no noise, felt like miles from suburbia, with local walking trails just under 1 km away.

Hideout Site B (Bush Vistas)
It was a good little spot, nice and convenient distance from everything on the Goldy. We arrived at night and it was very dark so I would recommend getting there earlier in the day/ afternoon so you have plenty of light to set up. Site B is probably the best spot as you get a beautiful little nature gully as a view in the morning.

Nice and quite. Did exactly what we needed which was somewhere to stay. Bit of confusion on our end with where to park up but that was due to another vehicle parking where we was meant to be so we just ended up parking in another open bay.

Camp was great although very small so wouldn’t be great if many other people were there. Luckily only one other person was there.

This spot is nice enough. It has a clean toilet right in the site. Close to the beach and shops. But you must know that you are camping in someone’s yard. With other houses also close by. Fine for if you want a base point not too far from things but if you’re looking for a real get away from people, this place isn’t it.

We were in site B and paid 65 dollars a night in high season. It's a private space in a bit of nature among the suburbs of Gold Coast. The toilet is right next to site B and the picknick table and firepit are closer to site B than site A. I haven't seen a lot of wallabies, but they were there. Both nights a couple in the apartment complex behind site B, separated by trees, was fighting and swearing. It did stop after about 10pm. A shower with warm water would be an improvement. We couldn't find facilities at Gold Coast were a free shower cubicle was offers at public toilets. We ended up paying $7 at Miami Aquatic Centre to get a shower.

Very expensive for just a field in some ones back garden, no signage, no lights, no working toilets.. just a field (on a hill), an absolute scam. I have been to MANY better FREE campsites.

Great spot for an overnight camp. Location is great as well. Hard to see at night finding the driveway so would recommend checking in late afternoon. But I wear glasses.

Very friendly contact with managers. But it's too pricy for what you get in my opinion.
With the hipcamp fees we payed 52 for three people for a spot to park the car and a bush toilet with not even a sink.
You basically pay for a close spot next to the southern surfspots at gold cost.

Feels very wilderness for being in the suburbs and being so close to the beach. Great fire pit great toilet and we saw a wallaby. Kind and helpful hosts very responsive on messenger. You need to take trash away with you and they wouldn’t take it at the local gas station so just bear in mind :)

Lovely and quiet bush setting. Private and relaxed.

Perfect spot for an overnight getaway!
Nice open area with plenty of wild life and perfect shade from the trees made it nice and cool.
Super close to different beaches and fishing spots so made for a great weekend and very hassle-free.
Definitely recommend and hope to go back again when a break is needed
