Well this place was amazing. We never meet Janet but David was an awesome bloke. The sites are HUGE the fire pits was amazing. We thoroughly enjoy our night here. We had the entire place to ourselves so the music was turned up. 100% recommend this place.

Serenity in the bush
This is the best hip camp we have ever stayed at…. David and Janet were so welcoming and their site is great. Set amongst the gums in a very nicely mown grass paddock, there is a fire pit at each site and all sites are spaced to give you privacy if desired. We were lucky enough to be at the christening of the camp kitchen, complete with table and chairs and a great view looking over the campground. This is a nice quiet spot with plenty of wildlife a lovely way to spend a couple of days in the bush and quite close to Townsville
