The access road is a wide, smooth dirt road, but rather steep in places hence 4WD vehicles. A very peaceful place to camp, has a creek & beautiful peacocks. We feel safe and very relaxed and hope to come back again when we can. Clean & spacious bathrooms with hot water & purified water to use.

I had a wonderful experience at this camp! The view is absolutely stunning, and the place itself is beautiful, filled with great energy. Dr. T and Richard took excellent care of us, making the experience even more special. I truly believe it’s worth visiting — I highly recommend it!

Overall was only 2 other couples there over the Easter weekend which was nice and peaceful. Grounds were nice except after the cyclone abit of trees had fallen however no major issues getting through to the site/grounds. Had a pleasant stay would recommend

A wonderful relaxing and private shady camp site overlooking the water - we loved the fish & turtles. Also the peacocks roaming around were so special. Dr T was a delight and he showed us around the property and the area. We can't wait to go back!

Dr T's property is a magical getaway in the heart of Tallebudgera. Camping amidst the lush trees and overlooking and hearing the running stream is such a tranquil experience that makes you forget you are only 20 minutes or so away from the bustle of the gold coast. The property has lots of little areas to explore and the facilities are top notch. Dr T is a gracious and friendly host and I would highly recommend this stay.

It was extremely peaceful sitting by the creek, I slept well and rested very well. Easy to find, and easy for parking and getting to the shower, and toilet. It was just what I was after for journalling, meditations, and reading my book for a small solo get away.

A very peaceful, relaxing spot in the bush. Doctor T was welcoming and friendly. The bathroom area did need some TLC and was smelly but everything else was good. We especially enjoyed hiking on the property and the view from the top was amazing. Thank you.

If you are looking for a camping spot immersed in nature and with a great vibe, this is what you are looking for! You are allowed camp fires. Dr T is a fantastic host who has an amazing property. I parked up in my van for 5 days and loved the peace and serenity. My stress levels went down 50% and I got some much needed rest and relaxation. Close to Burleigh Heads for anyone who surfs and swims or needs supplies. The area around is surrounded by rain forest with walking tracks up the top of the property with amazing views over TallebudgeraValley. Clean shower and toilet facilities. Great bush camping and an epic swimming hole. Highly recommended to anyone wanting a relaxing camping experience to come check it out.

Camp-site was lovely! Beautiful views of a quaint little creek, and wondering peacocks to keep you company. Dr T was also so nice! Really welcoming too, will definitely come back.

Dr Ts sanctuary is easily one of the best campsites I’ve ever been too. I ended up extending my stay by a whole week! He only takes a very small number of bookings and it’s a massive property so plenty of space to have complete quiet and privacy from others. I’ve never slept so well. I highly recommend one of the shady spots under the trees by the river (which you can also swim and lounge in); but there are so many different little ecosystems to choose from. The property itself is beautiful; rainforest and grasslands and the river and mountain views and plenty of wildlife to befriend. And yet still so close to Burleigh Heads if you want to pop down to one of the cafes or restaurants or beaches there. Highlights also included enjoying breakfast every morning with the peacocks coming to visit. And Dr T is warm and generous in his hospitality. I would highly recommend staying here. It’s my new favourite spot, so Ill certainly be back. A sacred piece of Country indeed. Thanks Dr T!

What a wonderful start to the year! My partner and I spent a blissful 3 days here and were welcomed to this special land with warmth and community! Dr T was an excellent, accommodating and friendly host! We both could not recommend this place more, and to those lucky enough to gravitate towards this place for a stay, i hope that you take all of this wonderful energy home with you to share with the world!

What an amazing stay! Dr T was so welcoming, the camp grounds provide were amazing with an abundance of wildlife on the grounds. Stunning. Will definitely stay again!!

Doc T's Retreat really is like no other. Forget spending 2K plus a day for a 5 star luxury lifestyle retreat with other people running around to sort out your gear, better here. Absolutely amazing place, I honestly didn't think places like this even existed anymore. I arrived very keen to adhere to detox over 3 day period free from alcohol and focused to eat healthy vegetarian meals. I also stayed in a Hybrid Caravan, ($110nt), which was more expensive than a tent site, ($45nt), Caravan site was powered but you will need a 10 to 15A adapter. Very difficult to surmise the experience but in my opinion unless you want to go there to chill out & embrace the vibe don't go at all. The Docs set it up as a type of Buddhist retreat before type of Buddhism became trendy. It is a special place and the fact that it is alcohol/drug/meat free makes it even more special. In fact Doc T advised me there was no swearing, (I found myself reprimanding myself for swearing after a spilt can of jackfruit which I was never going to eat anyway in the fridge!). Awesome location too only 20mins to Palm Beach, Burleigh Heads and you can avoid the M1 to get to both places. In fact I'm not going to divulge too much, bit like ruining a movie script, hey Doc!

Dr Ts property was such a treat from the very beginning driving through the gates there was an instant feeling you have entered a very special place full of peace and tranquility. We camped under the tree by the river. Highly recommend Dr Ts place has a special energy to it.

Nice camp-site among the trees and nearby creek. A bit hilly ground. Clean and modern bathroom. Drinking water is available. I got lucky that Dr T set up a bonfire on my first night there. It's a convenient place, close to amenities. Overall a great experience.

Where to start. The camp site is by a river that gently lullabies to sleep each night, surrounded by mature trees that give great shade by day. There are deep spots in the river for a afternoon swim or morning if you are game. It was peaceful and restful to camp there. I walked down the river a little some days . Plenty of space. DrT was an amazing engaging host. So glad I found this gem almost want to keep it a secret though everyone should experience it’s beauty and calmness even for one night. I stayed for 6 nights and could have stayed longer.
