We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay on Sally’s property just outside of Emerald.
We had a lovely spot to set up by a dam, sensational starry skies, stunning sunsets and morning sunrises. Very peaceful and quiet with no highway noise. We enjoyed a campfire at night and have no hesitation in recommending this our first HipCamp stay!

Quick and friendly responses from hosts. Apple Maps directs you right to property. Nice flat camping area with fire drum and wood. Very peaceful and relaxing. I was only one here. Close enough to be Emerald so I could take care of a few appointments with ease. Dam has clear entry with no weeds so easy to access for swimming. Would come back again.

We had an amazing 2 night stay. Relaxed under the shade of the trees by the dam, tried our luck with some yabbie nets and a fishing line. Just an overall peaceful place to stay yet it is close enough to Emerald if you need to duck into town. Would absolutely stay here again!

Immediate reply, easy and friendly check in process. Only campers so had entire dam and space to ourselves. Fishing, yabbies and campfire with wood provided. Beautiful, clear night full of stars to end a fabulous sunset across the dam. Will return if travelling through Sally and Phil’s piece of paradise again.

A very peaceful 2 day stay allowed time to rest and enjoy the serenity of the landscape, dam and wildlife. I had some kangaroos come by in the morning which was a delight. Owners are a friendly young couple.

Conveniently located just out of Emerald the stay was very comfortable. Clear description and directions supplied. We got to catch an amazing sunset and Phil had the site freshly mowed and supplied us with fire wood. We had the place to ourselves and really enjoyed how peaceful it was

We loved our caravan campsite at Sally's. It is a great spot camped right beside a dam. Extremely private & we ha a camp fire right beside the dam under some trees. The sunset reflected on the dam was beautiful. Phil brought down a load of firewood for us with his tractor. Sally & Phil were great hosts, so friendly & couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome.
