Named one of the best Hipcamps to visit in 2023.
Sarabah Stud is a beautiful cattle and farming property with access to Canungra Creek. There's resident platypus in the creek and great spots for swimming. Located approximately 40 minutes from the Gold Coast and 1 hour to Brisbane CBD. There are several beautiful swimming holes just below where we encourage guests to swim. Children 5-16 are $10 per night (please include with booking), and kids 4 and under are free (no need to include in booking, just let us know they are coming). Toilet available. Please note we do not provide toilet paper. Remove all rubbish. Campfires permitted in a designated area when restrictions aren't in place. Access is 2wd but we recommend 4wd when raining or wet conditions or contact us for track condition . Pets are not permitted.

Stoney Camp Sarabah Stud
We love camping at Sarabah Stud, this was our second visit and it didn't disappoint. The site was clean and well looked after. My son loved rock hopping in the creek. Hours of entertainment. We'll be back again for sure.

Stoney Camp Sarabah Stud
We liked Stoney Camp, it was shaded and so cool. It was a lovely respite from the summer heat. The kids could get into the creek from camp and clamber down the rapids to swim in the day use area. All other sites the toilet was on the site but Stoney camp was a short stroll across a dry creek bed to the toilet. We would only choose Stoney Camp though as it was so lovely in the shade, right next to the creek. It was very restful listening to the water rush over the rapids all day.

Lower Platypus Hole Sarabah Stud
We loved camping at Sarabah Stud Camping. We camped at lower platypus, it was private and right near the water, we could watch the ducks, birds, turtles and eels. The site was shaded all day. The swimming hole was awesome to cool off in. Toilet was clean. Rob met us when we arrived and was super friendly and made us feel welcome. We will be back!!

Pumpkin Patch Sarabah Stud
We loved camping at the Pumpkin Patch site. Plenty of space for our larger group. The onsite toilet was also a plus. Small walk to take a dip in the river. Perfect location to also take a trip into town with all the amenities you could need. We had a great day out visiting the local pub and winery’s. One just in the walking distance from our campsite. Would highly recommend this spot.
