My group of 14 stayed for my bday weekend & had the best time! Huge perks of the place:
-The hosts, Patrick & Tom had amazing comms throughout the entire process & shared some important tips like internet access/things to do around the area/prompt that it’s cold at night, even in late spring etc. They were lovely & prepared an amazing spot for our group. They even offered some discount options!
-The toilet is an awesome long drop design that doesn’t smell, even after a huge group for a few days. It’s strategically placed near the fire pit so we didn’t have to walk for ages from where we spent majority of our time. It also has charging ports so you can keep your phones etc charged. We were so impressed with this!
-The freshwater creek was perfect for swimming. There’s a section deep enough to dive in & swim around & other parts you can sit on the rocks & enjoy shallow water.
-The section is flat & very spacious so there were many options to put the tents without being super close to each other. The trees lined up on the creek side provide shade from around mid morning too which was handy to not have to squeeze under our gazebos!
-The cows and calves that roam through the site are the cutest! Some even let you pat them.
-If you forgot anything or need to top up supplies, it’s only a 15min or so drive to Canungra.
It’s a really great spot for groups of all sizes but ideal for a big group! Highly, highly recommend!

We had such a peaceful and relaxing stay here! The campsite was beautiful and quiet, surrounded by nature. Friendly cows and other wildlife wandered by during the day, which made it feel extra special. The creek was super clear and refreshing — perfect for a swim and for our dog to splash around in. Everything about this trip was just what we needed to unwind. We can’t wait to come back!

Fantastic spot and awesome host, we loved the shade from the trees and the supplied park bench made a great spot to sit and eat, the creek was an easy walk and a refreshing spot to cool down, the grounds were well maintained and the toilet were clean .
Would definitely come back again, plenty of room to throw a ball for the dog, and the friendly wildlife entertained you with there presents, we were only there 5 days which went way to quick.
Thanks Tom & Patrick, you have a great spot, hope to come again soon.

the site was very pristine and you are in the middle of nature and creek. it is probably best suited for a group. but my wife and I decided to grab the whole thing for ourselves only sharing with the very friendly cows.

A beautiful stay at Site 3 for my birthday. Private, quiet and a lovely view down the creek. The creek had a couple of deep spots so you could have a proper soak in the hot weather. Loved being able to have our dog there. A bummer about the fire ban as it would have been nice to use the fire pit but we will save that for our next visit. Tom and Patrick were responsive hosts and we will definitely be returning!

We had an absolutely fantastic camping trip! The best part was how private and peaceful the site was – truly feeling like you’re by yourselves, which is so rare these days. The creek was perfect for the kids to cool off and play, and the cows wandering nearby were a fun bonus. Everything about our stay was wonderful. 10/10, highly recommend!

A private, spacious, and beautifully maintained campsite that's perfect for families. We fell asleep to the sound of the stream and woke up to mountain views. The fenced area gave us peace of mind while our son explored, and the toilet was impressively clean (truly one of the freshest drop toilets I’ve ever encountered lol). Huge thanks to Tom and Patrick for a wonderful stay!

We recently stayed at this campsite, and it was absolutely fantastic! The huge open space gives everyone plenty of room to spread out, relax, and enjoy the outdoors without feeling crowded. The highlight for us was the beautiful running clear water creek, peaceful, and perfect for both kids and adults to explore. The entire area is well maintained and cared for, which made the experience even more enjoyable. It’s an ideal spot for large families with kids and those that love the extra leg room.
Super easy to access and directions are clear.
We can’t wait to come back!

We loved camping at Sarabah Creek! Beautiful flat spot right next to the creek with lovely bubbling water and birdsong the soundtrack to our trip. Well appointed and clean drop toilet facility, nice secluded spot and the best part is that it's only a little over an hour outside of Brisbane! With several lovely wineries all within a short distance this place really does tick all the boxes. We will definitely be back!

An absolutely brilliant camping spot overlooking the flowing creek. The cow visitors were awesome, the location and proximity to the Gold Coast is so convenient. Patrick and Tom are exemplary hosts, great communication. We’ll definitely be back.

We had a wonderful time at Sarabah Creek. This would have to be the best campsites in South East Queensland.
The beautiful view and sounds of the running creek, along with the birdlife and campfire had us unwinding in no time.
We'll definitely be back.

Great camp site! Easy to get to with plenty of activities to do around. Very nice views throughout the days with the mountains and creek. Fire pit was in a good spot and easy to work with. Only downside to the spot were some loud cows!

Lovely spot along a quiet country road. The site was large and flat. In warmer months the creek would be fantastic to swim in. It was great spot to explore, throw rocks, tell stories and hang out with our little kids. There was a portaloo available for an extra fee and a pre-existing dugout fire pit. It was serene, but close enough to Canungra to get supplies as needed. I could see the adjacent sites in the distance, but they were a good 100m or so metres away. Will be back with friends.

We had a great time at Platypus Bend. Everything was fantastic and it’s a beautiful property. There is lots of flat grassy space and we love the cows wandering through. The hosts are great to communicate with and we hope to return many times. I particularly want to come back when it’s warmer to have a swim in the beautiful Canungra Creek!

Firstly, WOW 🤯 site one is spectacular (Platypus Bend). The scenery of the creek is amazing, the grassy area was so nice to walk around on with no shoes. One massive bonus is your dog being allowed off leash, but please supervise your dogs at all times to keep the Tom and Patrick happy so they don't change the rules if something goes wrong. Its so nice for your dogs to be able to relax and enjoy the place as much as their owners.
Your toilet on site 2 was very well set up and very clean, you have done a great job with that design. We can't wait to return in the near future, and we will be telling all of our friends and family about your Hipcamp site.
Kate and I just want to say thank you so much for making your farm available. It is so peaceful and relaxing, just what the doctor ordered 💯🫶

The location was superb. Loved the cows meandering through the campsite & the sound of the rushing creek. We had quite the variety of campers including kids & dogs & we all want to come back when it’s warmer so we can enjoy the creek more. Our hosts were wonderful & great communication. We would 100% recommend Sarabah Creek Camping.

Very much enjoyed our time here. The creek is amazing, looking forward to coming back in the warmer months for a swim. Even had a little turtle visit us, sunning himself on a rock. Owners were very easy to communicate with.

Love love love. Fabulous site! Having our dogs off lead was such a great experience while having your own little water hole for the dogs to play in. Heaps of kangaroos jump past on the hills in the morning. Such a great private secluded site. We coped some rain but they’ve maintained the site so well it wasn’t an issue at all. We will definitely be back.
