We loved the tranquility and peaceful atmosphere at this camp! Stunning sunsets and so much wildlife and farm animals to be seen cruising around in the farmlands. The site is fully fenced so is perfect for dogs as well. Would recommend!

Range Station was a little gem - very relaxing with amazing views all around. We had the place to ourselves, but there was plenty of room to spread out. It was dry with a total fire ban when we were there, but at other times it would be a sea of green, rolling hills with fire pits, a port-a-loo and a delightful nursery / garden to explore. It’s off the beaten track so it feels like being a million miles away - perfect!

The camp was in a great location but unfortunately there was a port-a-loo in front of a lovely view & the area was too small for the amount of allocated campers compared to other Hipcamps we have used recently. Very nice garden and quirky nursery

Great spot for our Two Border Collies. Fenced area so they could stay off leash and be safe. Good views to Mundubbera with flat grassed area.
Plenty of firewood available. Host was very accommodating and helpful.

Lovely flat grassy area. Bonus for us was it was fully fenced so the dog could be off leash. Just a Portaloo but that was fine. Easy to find and gravel road no problem. Ange very friendly and lovely to chat to. Well worth a visit.

Great spot to breakup the inland drive and only 10mins to Mundubbera. Cracking little spot with great views and quite. Provided firewood was awsome for a cold night. Definitely recommend

Great location high up overlooking the ranges one way and looking out over farmland the other way. Incredibly serene and quiet. Free firewood supplied by the lovely host Angela. Incredible bird life in her adjoining plant nursery. Thoroughly recommend this place

Lovely big grassy open space with room to move. Angela came and met with us on arrival. One portaloo on site. Lovely little garden centre attached open Thursday Friday and Sat (I think)
Beautiful country outlook. Communication with owners was 100%. We would definitely go again.

Absolutely loved the landscape and camping area, a cute nersury right next to the camping grounds. Angela is a very lovely lady who made sure we had enough firewood and checking up on us when needed.
Nice and secluded, perfect to get away from the city to lots of farm land all around and traditional living.

Magical place, serenity plus, Ange the host is so welcoming and love that our little cavoodle was free to roam in a place that felt safe. Stargazing amazingly clear, sunset over rolling hills and firepit to ourselves. Ange even provided the wood. 8 mins to town. Perfect.

Peacful Camping with Quirky Nursery

We just had two very relaxing nights at Range Station Retreat. We thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere in the sun throughout the day and then under a million stars at night. The camp area is flat and grassy and only 5 minutes out of the town of Mundubbera. It has a few sites but we were lucky enough to have the whole place to ourselves. There is a portaloo onsite with a view to die for and a few fire pits around. Ange & Paul supply firewood to get you started. It is dog friendly off leash and our staffy Barney loved playing with Ange's 2 speagles (Lewie & Frankie). Ange is lovely and very easy to chat with, she is helpful with lots of knowledge of the area. She has created a lovely bush nursery under the forest beside the camp area with an amazing array of plants and quirky things around, with a little cafe for coffee & tea in Poppys Coffee Hut. We will definitely be back. Thanks for having us

A lovely peaceful couple of days. Ang was there to greet us on arrival. She is very friendly and helpful. We had the whole place to ourselves. Ang brought us wood for a camp fire which we lit the second night. A beautiful night under the stars. 8 minutes out of Mundubbera, a very clean, vibrant and friendly town. Highly recommend if you want a quiet getaway.

We camped up for 2 nights in a caravan and we were the only people here. The views and the quiet are a stand out for this site. Angela is a terrific host and most welcoming.
We have 2 dogs, a Jack Russell and a Whippet and they highly recommend Range Station Retreat as a camping site

Angela has a wonderful Hipcamp site. Large leveled manicured lawns and a bonus portaloo. We loved the 360 degree views of the Mundowran range and the little adjoining nursery and cafe. We were exceptionally lucky to have two nights on our own. A wonderful escape to the country for a couple of days peace. We totally recommend this site and would definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed the mountain top views and serenity. Very quiet stay. Angela was helpful happy and easy to talk to. There is a unique nursery that is so lovely to walk through.

Range Station was a lovely surprise. Beautifully maintained site with stunning views. An added bonus was the remant softwood vine scrub.,which was really interesting Ange is a very welcoming host and the plant nursery she is establishing is very different. Do yourself a favour and pay it a visit

Absolutely stunning views. We had the place to ourselves which made the trip even more amazing! The hosts are so friendly, expect them to pop over to introduce themselves and have a lovely chat ☺️ The nursery is awesome, it was nice to see lots of visitors to it over the weekend. Overall fantastic experience, will definitely be visiting again.
