🦉 Private Garden
This is the best campsite we stayed in far North Queensland. Our preschool aged kids enjoyed having so much space to run, and they really appreciated the bread to feed the fish and turtles. The chairs that Ross lent us were also very helpful to our minimal flight-friendly camping setup - thank you. We would love to come back to this site and spend more time in the area!

Views were lovely and there was a lot of privacy. Ross was a kind host and we had no issues with the check in. We spent long hours in the evening looking for spiders and frogs in the garden, if you like that type of wild places and you don't mind no flush toilet onsite, then it's a place for you!

We had a beautiful stay at Mountain View, the views were lush and spectacular. The sound of the water fountain sent us into a peaceful slumber. Our host Ross (a lovely gentleman) recommended us a nice walk by the creek, and was even kind enough to help us out when we were having car issues. 10/10 recommend this spot for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy nature.

We had a great stay with Ross, he was super welcoming and directions to the land were very clear and easy to follow. We basically had the place to ourselves and loved the privacy and serenity. The sound of the water at night and the view was just amazing.

I had a great stay here and it was in a good location for Mossman Gorge. I didn’t meet Ross, but Liz was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond for us. She gave us lots of knowdlege about the area and things to do, took us down to the gorge and gave us some floaties! When our van broke down she gave us a lift into town and helped us sort a taxi! Liz went above and beyond.
As for the spot, it was beautiful and lots of nice wildlife. Note that there is only one firepit, and the pitches aren’t clearly marked so someone ended up taking our spot when we were out for the day as we had a van so took it with us.

We had such a lovely time camping on this property! It's in a beautiful location, close to Mossman while still feeling amongst the forest. Lizz was an amazing and welcoming host. We were sad to not have more time here!

Had a lovely quaint stay at the property, a nice chat with the owner and the caretaker the later of whom helped me out with some cream for some mozzies bites I go from another night, here there is just marsh flies which are few and far between, slept very well, interesting gardens to explore, a really great spot considering it backs right on to a rainforest.

My friend and I camped here for one night and we loved it. The scenery itself is absolutely stunning and had some gorgeous added features; a lake with a fountain and a fire pit. If you're wanting a place to relax this is the one to book. You can see the stars and hear all the sounds of nature.

We had a wonderful stay booked through Hipcamp! The location was idyllic and perfect for a relaxing getaway in nature. Our host was very friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The only suggestion for improvement would be the toilets, as the one shown was not usable. Otherwise, everything was excellent, and we would gladly return!

Beautiful lush rainforest surroundings with the sound of tranquil water flowing in dam. Ross and caretaker Liz both super friendly, caring and accommodating. Access to Mossman river just down the road for a dip and Mossman town short distance away. Dramatic back drop of majestic mountains. Definitely recommend!

Very pretty property, quiet and private and tucked away so it felt very safe and secure. We extended our stay to explore Port Douglas more, this was in a great spot only 20 minutes to Port Douglas and 20 minutes to the Daintree. Ross and Liz were lovely, easy to communicate with and Liz had some great suggestions for things to do and see in the area. The property is immaculately kept and an enjoyable place to relax in nature. We were able to level our 4WD/rooftop without any issues on our site.

Lots of space with lush grass. Ross met us and pointed out spots to set up our caravan. Surrounded by tropical bush. Close to rivers for the dogs to explore. Also close to Mossman and Port Douglas. Would stay there again.

Perfect camping paradise. We have stayed 3 times here and it felt like home. Amazing gardens, perfectly cut grass, rainforest all around. The fish and turtles in the pond were fun to feed. Ross and Liz were welcoming and made us feed at home.

Amazing tropical paradise. The gardens and grass here are immaculate. The pond with water feature is so peaceful. We loved this place so much as soon as we arrived we booked another 2 nights here. Ross was an amazing host.
