Owners a tad creepy
The owner kept staring at us at 23.30-01.30. Although the car spaces are cramped together, it is a really nice space. They advertise they don't want people removing wood from the surrounding area and only want people to purchase pre-cut wood.

Vintage Self contained Caravan
We had an awesome stay and wish we could of stayed longer. The facilities are amazing and being able to stay right on the waters edge was beautiful. Shane is an awesome host. Thank you for our stay 😊🐾

Tent and Swag Sites
This was the best camping experience I have ever had. The grounds were so clean and well maintained. Thankyou so much
Site 9
Great site overall
We stayed in site 9 at Platypus Bush Camp for two nights. We really loved our site as it offered privacy away from the bustling camp ground. We also loved swimming in the stream which was a short walk from camp. There was a site right next to it with a see through screen which we recommend should be changed to provide both sites with proper privacy. As a general piece of feedback, the whole area did feel very crowded particularly on the second night when several tent and “car” campers arrived. We enjoyed it but probably wouldn’t return.
Site 10
Mixed feelings.
It is a lovely park to be in, with great amenities. Close to the beautiful Finch Hatton Gorge and walks. Loved swimming in the stream at the park, and hearing the birds. Toilets and shower were fabulous, and what a treat showering in the open air shower. Site 10, however, looks out to the free camping tent area. There is no privacy, as you look out to the tents and you are also right next to the communal fire pit, available for use by anyone in the park. The tent area was occupied by a large group of backpackers, and although not rowdy, had their music and voices going into the evening. Just not exactly what we had hoped for in a gorgeous bush camp setting. Everything seems to be a bit crammed in and close. Overall, it was ok.
