Peaceful retreat on quiet road in rural setting 5 minute drive to Lake Cootharaba/ Boreen Point. Noosa Heads is approximately 25 minutes and 20 minutes to Pomona. Convenient stopover between Byron bay and Airlie beach. Tent site on grassed area and RV/campervan site with power and water available on edge of forest adjacent to shed. Under cover parking for campervan is an option alongside the living area and amenities. Facilities include equipped kitchen with large fridge/freezer, gas stove/oven, benchtop convection oven, kettle, toaster and all utensils. Bathroom with hot shower and a bathtub for parents with children. As we are on tank rainwater, we request that guests conserve water usage. Compost toilet and a laundry area with washing machine and tumble dryer for your convenience. Wildlife is abundant so no pets are permitted on the property. Fires are permitted in the designated Firepit provided. This has been a highlight for guests so far. We provide free firewood and ask that you use only what you need. Guests are asked to respect the quiet environment. We’d appreciate no loud music or voices from 10pm to 7am. There is a neighbouring property behind the shed and our bedroom is within range! When you book you are booking the entire camp facility, however the shed is used for machinery storage and the workshop for maintenance of equipment and tools so the owners will periodically be around the area. It is yours to enjoy, relax, unwind, or catch up on some rest. Please advise ETA so we can greet you on arrival and show you to your campsite. It's best to arrive before sunset to select your camp spot and set up and to enjoy the sunset views! Private land with resident owners in main house situated approximately 100m from camp site. Owners maintain permaculture gardens for self sufficiency in fruit and vegetables. Mobile phone reception is patchy but internet via WiFi is available.Tent site on grassed area and RV/campervan site with power and water available on edge of forest adjacent to shed. Under cover option for campervan or tent if it's raining or preferred.

Peaceful Retreat
My family and I had an amazing time at Maria and Neil's place in Cootharaba. We had the whole place to ourselves, as well as access to a shed with everything we needed including hot showers and a full kitchen. Maria and Neil were lovely hosts, so hospitable and friendly, which really made the entire experience special. I highly recommend this place for any families or group of friends that are looking for a beautiful, private camping spot, with the added bonus of the facilities and the warm hospitality of wonderful hosts. Thanks so much again Maria and Neil and we hope to see you both again soon! Terence, Louise, Antonio and Amelie

Simply amazing 🤩
Such an amazing campsite with a very nice area to camp both undercover or in the open field. Designated campfire area with plenty of firewood, composting toilet, proper bathroom with shower, and kitchen with a fridge and much more. It was such an upgrade coming to this site and ‘glamping’ after roughing it out in the rain the few days beforehand. Highly recommend this spot! Only a short drive to Noosaville. Maria and Neal were very accommodating and friendly. Thanks!

Relaxing Campsite With Essentials
This campsite was incredible and far beyond our expectations. The site was extremely private and quiet, and had many comfortable options for us to set up our tents out in the open on flat grass or undercover. The campsite came with a very useful shed dedicated just to us campers, and had all the essentials (and luxuries) needed for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. There was ample cooking equipment and utensils, a very clean bathroom and toilet, and plenty of areas to relax and unwind. The firepit was an extra bonus! A lot of love and care has clearly gone into this campsite, and we had a very fun and peaceful adventure with incredible hosts. I could not recommend this place enough - it made our camping experience very enjoyable and comfortable.

Comfortable camping
Maria and her husband were very kind to us, they were always available. The place was fully equipped for cooking with gas cooker, oven, microwave, electric kettle and toaster. A very large fridge and freezer. Very comfortable hot water shower and compostable toilet. We were allowed to pitch our tents under the roof and we had firewood to make a fire. Felix phone signal is not very good but they have wifi. It is a very quiet place and we recommend it 100%.
