Nomadic camping
Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
We have 178 acres of beautiful land hidden in the hills of Tarome in the Scenic Rim community. An amazing view of the national park and Cunninghams Gap. There is a hidden creek at the back of the property that never runs dry, running from Gap Creek Falls at the top of Cunninghams Gap. The location is perfect for a quick getaway or long stay, complete privacy and little reception depending on your phone service, ensuring a peaceful camping stay. There is lots of activities within a short drive from the property including fishing at Lake Moogerah, hiking the mountain tops or having brunch at the amazing local cafe's in the area. Our campsites are hidden in the hills, down by the creek or out in the open. You will need a 4 WD to access the rear of the property. There are 3 x 2WD camping options for caravans over 17ft or those not off road. Depending on the type of vehicle and van will dictate your camping locations. Maximum caravan access for the rear of the property is 17ft off road van. This is due to the hill climb and a tight corner at the top. Dogs are welcome but must stay within the camp, be under control or on a leash. If you have friends who you want to invite but don't have camping gear that's okay, we have the option to hire a camper trailer. All they need to bring is food and drinks. Only 1 available, please see Extras. We welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. All human, food and general waste is to be removed upon leaving the campsite. We have fireplaces set up but if you prefer a different site for your fire please bring your own fire pit. Good Firewood for camp ovens etc is available for purchase under Extras. For this one off price we will supply you for wood for your whole stay. There is sometimes wood located at each campsite but the amount and quality is varied. Check in and out times are flexibility but please arrange time prior to arrival

Over The Creek
Over The Creek is a lovely campsite, we set up right by the creek and could hear the lovely sound of water running, the horses came by everyday to say hello too! The property is large enough that you can have a entire section to yourself. Very private and quiet.

Hidden Gem.
Stayed a few days at Over the Creek. We were fortunate to navigate to the back sites, which was a low range trip towing our off-raod camper. The hosts are fantastic, and checked in regularly with us. Lots of space. Ample firewood ( ordering that is a must when you book). Friendly cows and million star nights Both Creeks were crystal clear and refreshing on those hot days. The back creek was excellent. Could not ask for better venue.

We had the place all.to ourselves for a couple of days, which was amazing! The road is definitely 4wd only and very hairy in wet weather but the creek is pristine and sooooo refreshing. Love this spot

A favourite
Our favourite spot for pristine creek front camping. Definitely 4x4 only, but worth it if you love to hear nothing but the sounds of the creek and bush and dip in crystal clear waterholes.

Horses by the creek
My son and I loved camping here! Despite the rain on the first day, we had an overall pleasant experience. Easy to follow directions and excellent communication. Alannah and her dogs greeted us at the gate as per my ETA and escorted us to a wonderful campsite right by the creek. We had the place to ourselves, except for the friendly horses who came to visit us on several occasions. Recommend 4WD only in the wet seasons but imagine 2WD would doable in the dry seasons.
