Please note this farm is for SELF SUFFICIENT campers only. You MUST have your own toilet and you must take All of your waste with you. This is our home! Please respect it. * Do NOT enter neighbouring properties or throw rubbish over the fence. Cattle graze nearby and their health and safety is priority! One booking covers 4 people (no matter how many set ups/caravans/tents you have) You can pick wherever in the paddock that you'd like to set up - there are no pre allocated spots and you will be able to pick a private spot. Take a stroll through the olive grove and set up a picnic amongst the trees! Olive View Estate is a stunning 35 acre 700 tree working olive farm and guest stay accommodation. We have two paddocks on the back of the olive grove with breath-taking views. Enjoy a walk through our gardens and olive grove. You are welcome to roam our entire property - we just suggest wearing enclosed shoes. We have some very friendly farm animals - Olly the goat. Barb, Shaun, Dodge, Daisy, Duke, Georgie, Gracie and babies Leslie & Bo who all love carrots and apples. This is a full working farm and we restore vintage caravans and classic cars. You will see us pottering in the garden or walking our poodle, but we will leave you to your privacy. We have a beautiful vintage bus that we have converted into a farm shop and you can buy olives, relishes, honey, jam, seasonings, magnesium and more. We welcome small gatherings to celebrate birthdays, engagements or function (Christmas etc) just let us know during the booking process. We would appreciate quiet after 10pm. We are only 8 minutes from shops in town and a short drive for all of the Scenic Rim's attractions. We are in the heart of The Scenic Rim. The camping grounds is private and picturesque in our back paddocks - looking back over our olive grove and out to the great dividing range. We have fire pits set up in the camp area - please bring an extinguisher, wood and matches. The camp grounds has an easy access and campers have had no issues levelling out on the gentle slope or go higher up the paddock to the trees and the ground is level with the best views of the mountain ranges. Olive View Farm is ideal for self sufficient campers. At the front of the property near the bus shop we have permanent picnic tables set up for anyone to use. Dogs on a lead are welcome - we have lots of Kangaroos and Wallabies and we want to protect them. We are always on site and happy to help with anything you need. *Please note any negative feedback for camping received was from a festival that took place on our property in 2022 and the event organisers promised the campers facilities and did not deliver. Unfortunately Hipcamp won't remove these comments and we had no management of these customers. We loved Olive View Estate. A peaceful spot, well Maintained and pretty as a picture. Plenty of open space to spread out. No facilities and so you need to be self sufficient and ensure that you leave it the way you found it. Farmer friendly hospitality at its best. The condiments shop in the little old fashioned converted caravan was also amazing. I bought a bag full of goodies and all that we have sampled so far has tasted amazing. Thanks for a great weekend. Yet another fab few days at Olive grove .. as usual it was amazing . Olly the goat is definitely a favourite along with all the sheep , take a bag of carrots along when you go Olly will love you for it .

Great spot to camp overnight or a few days. So many places to visit close by, Harrisville, Wyaralong Dam, Boonah, Lake Moogerah, Kalbar and more. Bus shop is a great bonus. Will stay again.

The directions to the Olive Farm were clear and there were many generous sites to choose from, all with firepits. The farm shop was delightful and there was a great selection of home-made produce to choose from. The views from the camp sites were picturesque, especially the scenic rim sunsets. Stargazing was a highlight also.

Olive View Camping - Scenic Rim
Our family had an absolutely wonderful weekend at Olive View Estate! The moment we arrived, we were greeted by wide open paddocks, beautiful olive trees, and a peaceful atmosphere that instantly made us feel relaxed. Our kids were obsessed with Olly the goat and the other friendly animals. Feeding them was a highlight and made for some great photos and memories.

Great spot, very well kept. Didn't see the owners unfortunatly. The view of The Main Range, Cunninghams Gap and down to Mt Barney are unreal. As was the sunset. Will definitely be back. Only down side was the bloody bellowing bull all night lol.

Olive View Camping - Scenic Rim
We had a great time at Olive View. It is located in a great pocket of the Scenic Rim, close to Boonah and only an hour out of Brisbane. The site is beautifully positioned on top of a rise with amazing views in all directions. The hosts were lovely and it was great to chat to them and understand more about olive growing. The kids loved feeding Olly the goat and the sheep. The site is prefect for kids to ride their bikes around. It’s nice and quiet and it feels like you have the place to yourself because they cap the numbers nice and low. We will be adding this site to our “go too” list of places to go back to on a regular basis.

We were lucky enough to have this very scenic spot all to ourselves for 2 nights. Plenty of room for numerous vans and campers and fire pits to boot. Need to be fully self contained and don’t forget to pay a visit to the bus and purchase a selection of olives and other goodies. Can fully recommend

Just a great place to stay. Close to Boonah, Kalbar, Harrisville, Peaks Crossing.....etc. The little "bus shop" carries great product. We love the onion jam with a strong bitey cheese. Go to IGA in Boonah for a really good selection of cheeses & the butcher for a variety of locally smoked kabanas & the bacon.....TDF. The air is clean & crisp in the winter. Best time to go & light a fire.

We had an amazing stay at Olive View Estate! We camped down near the dam, and it was absolutely magical—so peaceful and relaxing, surrounded by beautiful scenery. It truly felt like the perfect escape. Kate was a wonderful host—her communication was excellent, and she made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. One of the highlights was the adorable little Olive Bus shop on the property. It was full of fantastic goodies—we ended up buying so much and loved every bit of it! We can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a scenic, peaceful getaway with a personal touch.
