Noosa Hinterland Bush & Farm Camp
We absolutely loved the property, swimming in the dam was nice :) there was plenty of space not to annoy other groups who were camping there lovely being in the bush amongst nature but still close to any shops or cafes :)
The location was so convenient near perigian coles and the beach so we just used the toilets there and the showers at the beach. Being able to have a fire was so nice.
The horses were gorgeous and came to visit us a couple of times. We walked to the hilly look out and took photos of the mountains it was beautiful.
The only things that would improve the campsite are a road built for normal cars to get through as it was quite difficult having to navigate if you only have one 4x4 for a big group and it’s quite a long drive on to the property (15 mins round trip) But we still managed it fine, as it was worth the little drive to the spot.
Only other thing I can say to improve is if there was access to a tap to access drinking water or fill up a camping shower that would make the place unbelievable! But we got by with our camping toilet and a swim in the dam. If you need a toilet and a shower everyday and don’t have one in your RV , this place isn’t for you.
Having said that though we still managed just fine as we are experienced campers and knew what to expect.
Communication with Mack and Michelle was excellent, and the description of the property was spot on. If anything I think its underrated in the description, it was magical.

Noosa Hinterland Bush & Farm Camp
Great spot in full nature in Sunshine Coast, so close to Coolum beach. Macka was a super friendly host, took care of us even though we arrived late, and brought us firewood the next day.
The Noosa Hinterland Bush & Farm Camp was challenging 4x4 access to reach a quiet and tranquil setting. Macka (like me) is ex-Army and has a warming friendly welcome, including delivery of some free firewood to get the night time camper oven up and running. Excellent experience, we will be returning again in 2022.
Camping here was great! Aside from some bad weather which I think brought the bugs, it was quiet, private and a short drive to some beautiful beaches. There’s a few ponds around to go fishing or swim in, and we saw some friendly horses strolling around as well.
It’s a very serene place and if you buy firewood, Macka provided a huge amount that lasted us 4 nights!
What a treat. We had a fantastic stay. Very quiet location in a secluded and private area. Nice and flat where we stayed with plenty of space. Macka dropped off fire wood which sadly we couldn't use due to the rain but plenty of fire wood on property if you needed it. Was a tricky little drive down to the remote location with our 16 foot off road Van but made it ok. Definitely needed 4WD in the wet and definitely needed the high clearance but worth the drive down as the camp spot is amazing. Was one of our better stays and could not have asked for anything better, we will be back.

The billabong was a great place to cool down. The camping spot was lovely, very flat, lots of room and we had the place to ourselves. The location is close to the beach at Coolup. The only recommended would be to bring the aerogard for mozzie.

Great spot! Large private campsites with trees, swimming hole, and friendly horses.
Less than 15min drive to the beach, but feels like you're way out in the Bush.
A B S O L U T E L Y L O V E D !
Our favourite hipcamp so far, Macka was a legend and super easy going letting us choose wherever we wanted to set up camp and then came back with a tractor full of firewood. The dam was so refreshing to swim in to escape the hot sun and the horses were super friendly and cheeky (especially the white and small one) a quick drive in to Noosa we will be back ASAP.

Noosa Hinterland Bush & Farm Camp
Was greeted at the front gate by Macka, who was very friendly and kindly led us through to the big camping area showing us on the way through the nice refreshing pool. Which we did jump in for a cool off 👌. We got to choose where we would like to camp, we found a nice spot facing bush, Plenty of shade and so peaceful. The wood we ordered was plenty. Also such a bonus that the beach is only 20mins away. Never long enough but we did enjoy our stay and would like to say Thankyou to the Host Michelle and Macka for sharing your piece of paradise.

I’ve asked the host not to advertise this as I we want it all to ourselves, love this hideaway in the bush, the hosts are so friendly and welcoming, we shall return again, we have an off road van 15.9’ it was neat through trees and track but we got there, love it , enjoy !!!’

Beautiful large property to camp on and explore and even have a swim. Conveniently located in the hinterland of Noosa, and close to everything. Friendly hosts who are very welcoming and would definitely recommend staying here.

We visited Noosa Hinterland Bush & Farm camp as a short distance trip from Brisbane for the weekend. The spot was fantastic, we had the campground entirely to ourselves and it was very private. Even with more people or a bigger group there is enough spots that you likely wouldnt be bothered by them. The hosts were very friendly and accomodating. They had a nice big pile of fire wood waiting for us when we arrived and guided us to the site in the dark. We have already recommended the spot to more friends as a great place to stay.
It was so beautiful and quiet. The scenery and the waterholes were beautiful to walk and explore. Highly rate this place for a stop over.

Michelle and Macka were very welcoming. The camp site's are well maintained the property is a perfect distance to get to the beach's then back to peace and quiet. Exactly what we wanted to see the new year in.

We had a wonderful stay here: the property is beautiful, Macka was very welcoming and helpful upon our arrival, 10 minute drive to Noosa, private campsites. Plan to stay here again and would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area
Second time back, stayed for 2 nights and once again just love this property! Perched in the same spot beside the dam where the horses came down to visit the dog for a swim one morning. So much to offer on this property and at a very reasonable price for how secluded it is! Pack up time the morning of leaving we found our battery had run flat from a rookie mistake, no drama for Macka though.. set him a message at 8am on a Saturday morning and got an almost instant reply letting us know he was on the way to help! It’s one thing to camp on someone’s private property but to know the owner is happy to help out when you need a hand makes a huge difference. I’m sure we will be coming back many more times! Very nice spot to stay

Wow, this is exactly what camping should be like through Hipcamp! Macka is the definition of a genuine Aussie bloke, met us at the front by the Farmacy and welcomed us to the property. He then lead us through the gate and to the campsite area, stopping by all the spots along the way to give us any information we needed. We stayed for one night and were the only people there! Set up right beside a dam where our dog spent 90% of the time enjoying every moment and met the 3.5 horses while on a walk, the white horse came straight up to us for a pat, what an experience for the people who aren’t around farm animals much.
Honestly if you haven’t stayed at this place your missing out!! I work in a very mentally taxing job and the overall experience from the hosts to the property makes camping much easier to unwind and relax! Thanks Macka and Michelle, see you again very soon!
The property is a lovely peaceful camp amongst mature trees. Bird life is abundant, we even spotted a fish eagle. The main dam is a great spot for cooling down or going for a paddle in the canoes provided. You are only 10 mins to the beach at Coolum. A great choice for a country and beach getaway.
What a fabulous spot! Our camp was secluded and peaceful with a huge dam for swimming and paddling. Beaches and shops are only 15 minutes away so you have the best of both worlds. Hosts are super helpful. We've already booked our next trip here!

Great peaceful spot. Not far from everything the sunny coast has to offer.
Michelle and Macka’s property is simply gorgeous!
Bernie and I camped half way up the eastern side with a 220degree view of the rainforest. We are told we are the first people to camp in that spot and I think we scored as it is really private site. With some much needed rain the little creek on our banks would be flowing however that didn’t detract from the beautiful surrounds and magnificent bird songs. The whip birds are my favorite.
The dam was so pristine and we swam several times a day. A walk up to Mango Hill for the spectular view is absolutely worth it and made the cool off in the dam all the more perfect.
Macka couldn’t do enough and even came with the chain saw and chopped wood for everyone.
I try and get out heaps and camp about 20 times a year - this is only second camp on HIpcamp, so we will definitely be back!
