What a beautiful spot close to town but far enough away that you feel you are in the middle of nowhere. RO. And Evi have done an amazing job with the grounds which are perfectly manicured even though they had floods only a few months prior.
The goats down the back are gorgeous too.
Can’t wait to go back again and explore the area some more.

Great camp spot. When you enter it feels like you're entering another world: perfectly manicured, spacious spots, gorgeous pond, ducks and birds, their goats in the background. Helpful owner and then I never saw them. Pretty much had the place to ourselves. Lottletraffic noise as there are road works happening close by but nothing kept me up at night and I consider myself a light sleeper.
I'd definitely stay here again. Thank you so much for having me.

So beautiful and peaceful. Overlooking the lake was so relaxing. Definitely recommend this place. Also dog friendly. Perfect spot!

Wonderful Hosts, such a beautifully set out area. The lake is magical on dusk with abundance of life. Have enjoyed being out of town but close enough to explore Gympie and surrounding areas..

These camp grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. The caretakers are such lovely people and very welcoming. We will definitely stay here again in the future. Such a nice quiet place to stay and pet friendly as lo g as kept on a lead.

What a beautiful place with lots of shady grasses areas, We relaxed by open fires each evening and our firewood was delivered to our campsite each afternoon. Our group had 5 dogs between all of us and they also enjoyed their long weekend. Dogs must be on leash. There are public toilets and a tap for water less than 5 minutes up the road for those who keep their portaloos for number ones. With Gympie township only 6 minutes away and Rainbow Beach a 45 min drive there are heaps of things to do in the area if just relaxing around the firepit or reading a book under the shady trees isn’t for you. We didn’t notice many mozzies which was great.

We’d like to thank Evi, Rob and their gorgeous grandson for making our stay amazing. The grounds were immaculate and picturesque. Evi and Rob went over and beyond to make sure we were all having a wonderful time. We were sad to leave. Definitely will be back. Thanks again for a fabulous weekend.

We stayed at Nomads Rest over the Easter brake. It was fantastic. Rob and Evi were friendly, welcoming and helpful. They were always available with answers to questions and went above and beyond what was expected with setting up little games for the kids etc. would definitely recommend this stop. Situated with spot close by a dam or river with lots of open space and green lawn. Little play area for the kids and goats to say hi too. Thanks guys

Gorgeous grounds, well maintained and the owners are very friendly and helpful. Great spot to stop over on your way to or from somewhere else but not the normal place I would choose to stay. ONLY because it is small so other campers are close, and it is far too close to the road for our liking.

We stayed at this place over Easter. The place is well maintained, the grass is evergreen, campsite not over crowded, no rowdy campers, other campers were really nice too. Rob and Evi were very nice and helpful, Evi came to check on us on Easter Sunday if we didn’t get drenched as it rained all night, luckily we didn’t. We also got some Easter eggs too!

Enjoyed the experience here within the well maintained landscape. A credit to Rob & Evie who both work hard to allow visitors like us to relax, soak up the atmosphere & enjoy their company on a daily visit. We will surely be back when time permits. Rob supplies good hard fire-wood that burns well & delivers straight to you. Thanks Again!

Peaceful and tranquil, full of birdlife, kangaroos, and guinea fowl. Near to town centre and great coffee locations. Some road noise but that did not bother us at all.
